0-60 times

just curious to hear about other people's 0-60 times, both stock and after mods.. I get consistant 4.8-4.9's bone stock and i'm wondering what I could expect after some mods IE exhaust, CAI, etc...

haven't tested it yet but was curious as to how you are measuring the 0-60 times. At the track? G-Tech Pro?

shabarivas 08-14-2009 12:11 AM

And how are you measuring that???

Based on the 1/8 mile my 370z 7 AT sport did it 4.4 seconds 2.01 60ft times. (Stillen G3 intake and 4.08 gears. ) Stock air preasure in rear tires.

I won't bother to hit to the track until it gets under 90 degrees here at night. But I will keep you informed :D

I have a MT Touring with sport package and have added Berk HFCs and R2C intakes. Just ran 3 0-60 runs and the best was 5.169 recorded with laplogger. Car had about 1/2tank of gas and driver weighs about 180, temp was 60 degrees. I am happy with this result (equals about what a pro driver gets with a stock 370Z) and could probably break into the 4s but really don't want to take too many miles off the life of the clutch.

Just used my G Tech today and got 5.12 for my 0 - 60 time with a 2.2 60ft. Had the weight set for 3500 lbs for car, and driver. Tried it in "D" and using the paddles and of course got the better time with the paddles. I even stepped on the brake and got the rpms up to about 2K before launch. I would have thought Id do better but Im not sure how accurate the GTech is but I will use that as my base for when I get the FI CBE installed and then do another and see what gains I get from the CBE.

Dude lol I totlaly installed like intake and exhaust in my z in forza 3 and totally get 4.8 0-60 but since mt says 4.7 i bet with the exhaust im like 4.5 since stock z in forza gets like 5.0 so that's a .2 gain, so like 4.7-.2 = 4.5, that's def prob acurate... man lol i smoke cameros like nobodies biz.

Are the manual/paddle shifter drivers pushing 0-60 in 2nd gear or shifting to 3rd? I've seen references to 2nd gear hitting redline at 62 mph, so I'm unsure if the small delay from shifting to 3rd is worth the time, or if hitting 60 in 2nd is worth the risk.

Are you guys getting any wheel hop with your launches?
