Ug this is as intimidating as hell! I'm definitely going to wait to jump on it until this winter when the Colorado snow has my Z stranded in the hanger.

Not do much that I can't do it, as time has me strapped. School starts at the end of the month, and I have a fiberglass hatch to build, body kit to install and paint, and still have to figure out the best way to get more angle. Having a shop do some of the work is my best option, and I think a shop installing the pump would gain me the most time at the cheapest price. Also, I already spent money on three concerts and hotel stays in between now and school starting, so my lack of priorities once again puts me in a bind, lol.

So the wiring instructions for the relay from Charles and the instructions from DW are different. Anyone know which one to follow?

follow the ones that come packaged with the DW relay kit for sure... we werent even using that same relay kit when the instructions were made, and DW will know best how they have the relay socket wired up

I wouldn't mind paying a shop to do this, but I fear a shop won't have the background knowledge from all of these posts on here to do it correctly or as smoothly.

Yeah, with me being in Abilene, TX, I have two choices; go to Dallas, or find a shop I can trust. Luckily, I found a shop a while back that while they don't have a lot of experience with imports, they do take their time, and double check everything. They also charge me based on the time it should take, rather than the time it actually took. My car was in the shop for two weeks last time, and they charged me 450 to install the diff, bushings, double check the suspension I installed, and align to my specs. Got to find a shop you can trust and that will treat you right like that.

If you don't mind going to Austin, a GREAT shop there with lots of Z experience is Winding Road Racing...
