I was going for next Friday actually. It's not super firm, just a preference. At this point I am intending to order the rest of the material for building 20 of them. I've got 15 on the list.. Depending on how quickly others deposit and if other people decide to join in... It's hard to guess how it will go. I guess I'll say they are due next Friday but units will remain reserved for list members lets say an additional 10 days after that... Then the unit will be openly available. I hope that's fair. Not trying to pressure/rush anyone... Martin is the only one in a hurry :)

Shipping

Charles - I tried to put down my $150 deposit through paypal just now and the system wanted to charge me for shipping on the deposit. Is that the shipping charge for the eventual product or is it a mistake in the system right now?

Thanks,
Mike

phunk 09-06-2013 12:29 PM

I actually forgot to enable free shipping on the item, ill adjust that in a few minutes sorry

phunk 09-06-2013 12:52 PM

That error is fixed now!

No problem at all, I did not explain it very well.

Inside USA: We setup a page on our website where you can order it by putting it in the shopping cart and checking out. This is the easiest way if in the USA. 370z Road Race Fuel Pump

For International: We accept PayPal to our address of sales@cj-motorsports.com. If you are not a PayPal member, that is not a problem. We can send a PayPal request to your provided email address. PayPal will then send you an email with a link, giving you options to pay such as a CC, without having to create a PayPal account if you do not wish to have one.

Lastly, I can manually process CC's here for anyone who isnt into the whole internet transaction thing. We can get in touch via telephone and I can run the card over the phone.

Feel free to send me a PM and let me know what works best for you! Thanks.

G37Sam 09-09-2013 06:00 AM

phunk have you been able to try and test this on a G37? I'm reading it can accommodate 2 pumps as well!

I have not yet! However, If someone took a depth measurement on the G37 fuel tank, i could confirm fitment! The OEM sending unit is the same, so I am sure it is compatible.

Unfortunately for retail sales that are picked up local or shipped within the state of Illinois, we are legally obligated to collect sales tax. We can however, work it into the price. I will offer to split the sales tax with any Illinois customers.

martin82 09-09-2013 02:09 PM

my deposit is in as well.

SS_Firehawk 09-09-2013 03:18 PM

I'll try and contact u later if I have some time

tturbo370z 09-10-2013 03:02 PM

Man I would really like one of these twin fuel systems for my car but there isn't a way I can wait till December. Stupid parts keep coming out that I need and can't put my build out any further of a delay since its been over a year already. Damn u fancy smart developer problem fixing guys :bowrofl: now if there was one available now I wouldn't hesitate to snag It up. Need to get car finished b4 baby comes :roflpuke2: I guess I can always put this down on my baby shower wish list

phunk 09-10-2013 03:18 PM

No worries... the road race pump is an independent system that you can add in later at any time! no reason to wait for it! You can get your build all finished up and then once the road race pump comes in... find your next available weekend and install it!

If you are talking about the complete fuel system with the rails etc, that system is also independent of the road race pump, and will be available in less than 4 weeks!

Just got off the phone with Charles and I can say I was very impressed. He more than answered all my questions to help me decide what I may need to finish my build, ether it be larger pump or twin set up. I would not hesitate to do business with him in the future. :tiphat:

wow look at all those deposits!! that should be enough to get Phunk cracking fast on those!! It's killing me running Redline Time attack on full tank of GAS!!!

phunk 09-11-2013 08:24 PM

material is already on the way... we might get these done quite a bit before my original estimate.. but no promises yet :)

phunk 09-13-2013 04:52 PM

material is ALSO on the way for our updated completed fuel systems as well... making this stuff together so that I can build the combo pack for potentially running the road race pump in standalone configuration.

clintfocus 09-13-2013 05:29 PM

clintfocus 09-19-2013 11:56 PM

question charles, how hard is it to drop the tank? i may not have room to get this in through the cabin because my diagonal support bar from my cage might be too close over the top. so the install with the tank dropped become any easier? (minus of course having the added labor of dropping the tank)

phunk 09-20-2013 01:16 AM

I have not stood under my 370z at a moment where removing the tank was on my mind, so I cannot say for certain right now.. But if its anything like the 350z, which it almost definitely is... the entire rear crossmember and everything has to be removed first.

Would it be any easier to install with the tank out? Eh... Not much, maybe just more comfortable for yourself. The install sucks, but I hope I stress that enough that once everyone does it, it doesn't seem as bad as they were prepared for.

I would only remove the tank if its totally required. You probably already know but i have to say that special care needs to be taken to support the vehicle if the rear crossmember, suspension, differential, axles, exhaust, and fuel tank are all going to be removed at once

SurfDog 09-20-2013 01:32 AM

Is there still time foe me to put in a deposit? If so, I'm in! (I fuel starved at half tank in Denver last week at mile high raceway. Grrr)
