Agreed. Just as an FYI... Last year during testing at Watkins Glenn ..going up 2 lbs on front tire pressure netted -1.75 seconds on the watch. Most DoT track tires

Agreed.
Just as an FYI... Last year during testing at Watkins Glenn ..going up 2 lbs on front tire pressure netted -1.75 seconds on the watch. Most DoT track tires ... Need the sidewall support ... Espc if front roll stiffness isn't strong enough to support it ... And if your camber isn't optimized. The sidewall when to low is the first thing to go once loaded ... And then you have nothing to lean on. |
