Good options for track wheels?
What are you guys using for dedicated track wheels? I don't really want to use my stock sport wheels. I do lots of autocross and plan on doing hpde's starting this year. Any recommendations? I was thinking about stepping down to 18's

I just bought enkei PF01'1's...18x9.5+30 (f) and 18x10.5+15 (r)
I get them tomorrow...enkei and Nissan, said they would fit, but I think it'll be close. I will advise. They were very affordable by comparison. |

I run 4 18x10.5 +34 (front offsets) and use a rear 20mm spacer to keep a square setup. Running 295/40-18 Hoosiers all around. I was running 275/35-18s but the car was too low and scraped the undertray and front bumper under braking.

One more reason to get a co-driver. Pre-requisite....you guessed it, he needs a truck and a cordless impact gun :-)

Enkei RPF1's-little pricey but one of the lightest wheels made. I'm a noob so I am regurgitating what other people say, but there are tons of 240/350/370 guys atthe track events I go to(yay Corner 3!) . Pretty much every serious track 350/370 I see runs 18's/10.5". Most of the guys use 285 RS3's or they swap to Nittos for their time attack events.
As for transporting them, you can swap them the night before-unless they are not DOT compliant. Otherwise, you need to get a GF with an SUV . |
