shadoquad 06-22-2012 10:54 AM

Unreal, P2!!! Congrats!!!

ChrisSlicks 06-22-2012 11:02 AM

Did you see the split time between 1st and 2nd? 0.001 seconds, holy crap that was close.

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 11:04 AM

It was actually .031 (Still close)

2:24.113 to 2:24.144

Fastest GS lap of the weekend is a 2:23.858. I thought they'd be in the 23s for qualifying.

b1adesofcha0s 06-22-2012 11:06 AM

Damn that's really close!

At first I thought damn dislexia but then I checked my source and discovered it wasn't me with the dislexia.

Lawson Aschenbach, Corey Fergus capture Road America poles

My source was the Qualifying Results page on Grand Am. Those bastards!

http://www.grand-am.com/scheduleResu...eid=3441&sid=2

That IS close then.

b1adesofcha0s 06-22-2012 11:13 AM

That 0.02 mph difference made the Camaro 0.001 seconds faster :p

Shamu 06-22-2012 11:28 AM

Wow! Awesome! The car is definitely working well and was it Bryan who set this time? Good luck with the race!

Yep it was Bryan.

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 11:31 AM

If they are smooth in the pits and race pace is there I think we're looking at a top 5 finish. Would be great if they can contend for a podium or win.

I'll be watching timing and scoring tonight since I can't wait to watch the tape-delay broadcast. Dastaco, since you're going to be there, you 'ought to provide some play-by-play for us if you can. :) :) :)

Of course this IS Road America and this IS the Continental Tire series, so we have to make it through Turn One first! Starting on the front row will be a big plus. I think at RA you either want to start P1/P2 or dead last. :bowrofl:

dastaco 06-22-2012 11:36 AM

Tragically I'm not at RA, I'm stuck in Ohio. I'll try to pass on any information I get though.

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 11:37 AM

Oh bummer, thought you were there!

Dwnshift 06-22-2012 04:42 PM

Thanks guys
LETS DO THIS!

:iagree:

But we're lucky that they even bother to broadcast at all. Good luck BJ and Bryan. Bring it home P1!!!

sixpax 06-22-2012 05:46 PM

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:22 PM

Mmmmmm Patron chicks.

Race is green. Yellow on lap juan. Camaro in the lead, RX8 in P2. Bryan fell to P3.

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:24 PM

Make that 4th.

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:26 PM

Timing and scoring for the race is a little loopy. I don't know if I can do this for 2.5 hours. :icon17:

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:36 PM

Back under green

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:38 PM

Bryan fell to 5th on the restart. Camaro, 911, Aston Martin, Mustang, 370

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:39 PM

1 second behind the Mustang, 2 tenths ahead of an M3

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:40 PM

1.2 sec behind the Mustang, 1.2 sec ahead of the M3. Got some breathing room to settle in. Still in P5.

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:43 PM

Bryan just ran the fastest lap so far of the top 5.

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:47 PM

3 sec off the lead, .8 sec off P4, and 3.6 sec ahead of P6. Still has the fast lap of the race however with a 24.3x, last was a 25.1x. Leader running consistent 24.4-5

sixpax 06-22-2012 06:48 PM

why are the GT cars mixed up in there ?

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:48 PM

P4 Mustang is catching up to the P3 Aston. Bryan closing on P4, .6 back. Might have a 3 way battle for P3 soon.

Its the timing system. It shows 1 GS, 1GT, 2GS, 2GT, 3GS, 2GT and so on. Got to click GS every time it refreshes to see what's going on.

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:49 PM

by GT I mean ST.

m4a1mustang 06-22-2012 06:50 PM

Mustang passed Aston for P3. Bryan fell 1.3 back of the Aston.

Yellow is out for something.

Red__Zed 06-22-2012 06:51 PM
