Ultimate Performance Dry Traction Street Tires

Car is not DD, has mixed track/street use, I'm looking for the stickiest street tire possible, don't care that much for wet traction, so what's the best performing tire for my needs?

So far my options:
-Bridgestone RE11's
-Yokohama AD08's
-Hankook R-S3

Fronts: 275/35/19
Rears: 305/30/19

I'm leaning towards Hankook's because of some great reviews about their performance in the dry, RE-11's seem like best all around (dry and wet) and Yokohama's are in between. What Do you guys think? If you have any other tire options to add to the list, feel free to do so.

I have only ran rs3's and like them a lot..............I dd on them and track on them pretty hard.

I really love the AD08s. Great dry traction on the street and behave like an R compound on the track.

I have the RS3's and when they are hot they are outstanding, but if they are cold (think first autocross run) they are practically useless. They typically do warm up quick though. Haven't had any wet experience yet.

You can't go wrong with either/or, very close, each one have their own strengths and weaknesses

RS3s will be tough on the street, because they are garbage before they are heated up.

Some of this will come down to feel. The RS3 feels a lot gummier than the RE11.
They have a lot of grip in warm/dry condition, but they do break down quickly once you get into cold/wet situations. They also seem to struggle on tight courses with cars that push heavily, and you wind up with some funky wear patterns etc. I've seen this on most cars that ride heavy up front, especially the subarus and 370z's.

I personally love the stiffer sidewall of the RE11. The quick response is very confidence inspiring. They are also almost impossible to heat soak, which is huge on the tighter courses.

The AD08 is a great tire, that I have less experience with. I have only heard good things though.

Might add PSS to your list. They will struggle with heat on long track sessions, but if you are mostly street driving they seem to get solid reviews...

Just a suggestion: Nitto NT01s and NT05s were supposed to be pretty solid tires... I haven't heard much of them as of late though.

Seems like R-S3's are as soft as R compound tires, here its always warm, so cold conditions would never be a problem.

Dont know if this is against the forum rules but I haven't found many vendors having them in stock (19"), only Tirerack, thought Hankook's would be the cheapest of all, but its complete opposite. Anywhere else i can get a better price?

I have no experience with the RS3's but they sound good reading through all this. Nor any experience with the AD08's either. The RE11's are inferior to me in every way to Michelin PSS except heat soak. The Michelins get a cottage cheese feeling after 20+ minutes or so they need a cool down lap before you can go back at it.

I saw a set of street legal tires that looked like slicks made from a racing compound, but had two rain grooves to make them street legal. What did I see, and is this a good recommendation?

How is the Michelin superior than the Bridgestone? In tread life maybe? The Bridgestone is a much faster tire. The Michelin is way overrated as a track tire, let's see them lay down some times. I drove on them at a few autox, great tire, but not fast...

Haven't run the RS3 but between the RE11 and AD08 I think they're a wash in dry conditions but in the wet the RE11 felt better to me. 'course I've sped up a bunch since I ran the RE11s too. :P

To choose the fastest street tire you need to look at time attack as that is really the only sport that puts street tires to the ultimate test. Most other series don't use street tires, but time attack has a street tire class specifically. Having been in the sport, particularly in the street class for years I can say that nothing out there right now can touch the Hankook RS3 as far as being able to run a fast lap time on a street tire goes. Many teams have tried other tires, tires they get sponsorships for, etc. and everyone keeps coming back to the RS3. The RS3 holds nearly every street tire class track record in time attack.

I don't have any perosnal experience with the RE11 but I do with the AD08 and while they are also a great street tire, they don't have the outright speed of the RS-3. The only benefit to the AD08 over the RS3 is that they are more consistent over a long run, but still not as fast overall. Plus they are a good bit more expensive. They would probably be the tire of choice in time attack though if the RS3 didn't exist.
