TX Mile March 2012

Good to see a fellow 370z.com member at this event last weekend. Forgot your forum name, forgive me, but here's the video I told you I'd post of your run.

Had a blast at the event. My buddy set the world record in his Challenger for a Modern Hemi with a 200.9 MPH run. Another friend is the 2nd fastest with a similar setup to my Challenger and ran a 195.1 MPH pass.

Can't wait to go back in October. May take my Challenger and run it.

So 142.2 in the mile. I am thinking that was a stock 370Z.

Looked stock to me all the way down to the exhaust. He's a member of this forum, had a decal on the window.

That 200 MPH Challenger seemed to struggle off the line. Looks like he didn't get traction for a while. Bet he could beat that time with a better start ... that or the video is playing tricks on me.

With over 900RWHP traction is an issue. However, in Mile events it doesn't really matter how good the start is. Seems odd but it's true. The REALLY fast cars can barely run on the line, but really lay the power down in 3rd gear.

Car has 50,000 miles on it last time I saw the odo.
