My 370z on DA track day...Review,Pic and Vid

Ok Guys enjoy the pics and vid(out and in board) sorry for some bad comments in the vid i was excited

just making some fun notes

This is my first track with the Z the car is stock except of oil cooler and it was great in balance, brakes, tires and power but the steering responses was not that good

only thing I face is that the car enter the save mode or limp mode on third sesion( each seasion is 20 minute) although the oil temp and engine temp were below the half plus i have 34 raw oil cooler, i don't what exactly was over heated, is it the gearbox or the diff or the power steering? Any ideas guys plz share it

i searched the the forum i only found this thread but no 100% answer

Love that... Tracking your car with Nav package! Couldn't tell but where you using? Nice save on that one corner btw.

may not be oil temps issue

limp mode = won't rev over a specific RPM... happens when you approach 300f

very possible you had fuel starvation... can feel like limp home mode and has three levels of severity... 1) slight loss in right hand turn you lose acceleration for just a moment, 2) severe loss in right handers and you lose several seconds on the lap, 3) so much fuel loss the engine cuts out entirely and you coast to a stop

which did you have?

Thanks Guys its really nice circuit with a lot of configuration this track day was on club config. the next one is on 14th of Oct. will be national config. it will be longer and much better, check their website they have a nice collection of cars you can rent and track them so if you are planning a visit to Dubai you can book them in advanced

Its my daily drive car also so it have to have little luxury loool, also our dealer her is only ordering the sport+touring package

No Man its Dubai Autodrom and "Mashalla" was writen in the back of my car

OK Man you know exactly what happened and you are 100% right after i turn right i lost the acceleration for 2 seconds then started to be more and in the last session the car completely stopped, all 3 situations happened to me

So can you explain to me more about it "fuel starvation" and how to avoid it next time plz??

You need to make sure that your fuel tank is 100% full before every session.

Other than that, you will need a custom gas tank or surge tank.

and where is this circuit located in Dubai? i might come to Dubai in December and i want to give this circuit a visit!

i think i'll go with 1st option for now..

the surge tank will be done later when it will be a track car!!!
