Yeah, those Nitto DRs were pretty good. I managed a 1.93 on the stock Goodyears (245s on a 17" rim) on my '03 Mustang GT. At the time it only had a 4.10 gear... everything else was stock... 5MT. Was able to click off a 1.95 and 1.99 that day as well.
I think a well-prepped track should allow for something in that range with this car... but the well prepped track part is probably key. At my local 1/8th I could hit 2.0 at best with the Mustang... but Virginia Motorsports Park was almost a tenth quicker with the same conditions.
