I don't know the regulations for that class as far as tire compounds go, but usually most racing series rain tires are too soft for the dry, especially on a 3400 lb. street car. They will likely blister, chunk, and overheat very quickly. There is a chance thought that they are hard enough compound due to race regulations that they might be ok.
