I have the same issue with Vortech V3. I had the Topgunz ACE kit and it failed after about 6-ish track day. I change the SC lubricant every 2 track

I have the same issue with Vortech V3. I had the Topgunz ACE kit and it failed after about 6-ish track day. I change the SC lubricant every 2 track days but it didnt help.
The real issue with Vortech V3 is the lubricant capacity is very small. During any track session the SC unit gets extremely hot, the lubricant will over heat and eventually cause the bearing and seal failure. I think the Rotrex SC would be a better option for track use as it has an external oil cooler for cooling the SC lubricant. |
