Without seeing wind tunnel tests, you really won't know without trying it and it could end up being a waste of money. In my case, I definitely want functionality but I'm not going to install one that sticks out 6 inches either. I'd rip that thing off the first time I pull into my carport and it just doesn't make sense for a daily driver. I'm kind of screwed. It looks like you can't have the best of both worlds. I'd have to go with this one (if I get one) and hope it provides some kind of functionality (it does look nice) because I can't/won't put a true track splitter on my daily driver because it wouldn't last a week.

Exactly, I am not putting a 6in long one on my car either. They look stupid and they may or may not work. Plus, I drag mine a good many of places. Putting the car in my trailer would be even worse. Still not sure what I want to do yet.

This one is one of the nicer ones I've seen for what it is. Looking at the pics in their pdf, it appears to be pretty good quality. Not sure what I'm going to do either but I just don't see a lot of better options out there. Not for the V1 bumper.

The way I have my APR splitter. It sticks out 3.5". If I even have to redo it. Think I would go 4.5" to 5".

Putting mine on a trailer would take some doing.

I looked at that also. It appears they did not connect the splitter/Undertray to the inner fender liner. That's a no go for me. We need that support because if it is not there, the front facia will buffet around and good bit.

I had to use sheet aluminum there.

I have used my trailer more than I ever thought I would, that is for sure.

I am kinda waiting to see what Hotrodz's guys do.

Well, if you let me know how you think it should attach to the fender liner, he said let him know if there's anything we would want changed or added to it.

It should attach like the Zspeed undertray does to the fender liner with 3 bolts. That will give us the needed stability. We don't need the brake duct things either.

Need some better bolt head solution. I will drag those things everywhere.

I'll bring that up to him. He's only familiar with the stock undershroud. When I get my car back here shortly I'll be replacing my passenger fender liner with a vented one I fabricated. I'll send him pics of how my z speed attaches to the fender liner.

That was my concern too
