Back in early 2000; I bought a 7x14’ trl & used for a mobile repair shop,,,it had 7k gvw w/torsion axles.
The torsion axles were very easy on the cargo; as they really absorb the bumps, potholes, etc well. Those trailers listed seem to be priced well. :) |
I’m going to look at a new Featherlite open trailer next week. Want the front road guard too. I need to keep my weight to a minimum, as my SRT Grand Cherokee tops out at 7200#. The few used ones I’ve found online aren’t much less than a new one. Anyone have experience with these?

I don't. I have a 04' Dually diesel. I could care less about the weight. My LQ horse trailer is all aluminum and heavy as xxxx. That is what I classify as a heavy load.

I am looking at Blue Jay trailers. This is a trailer company a friend of mine has had dealings with. Several trailer companies build trailers in my home town where I graduated from High school. Not very many build quality trailers. Here is an example.
