Right now, I have been tracking regularly for over 5 years, got down from 2:37 lap time to 2:21 in my Z. Also, I completed a season in Local wheel to wheel championship and I am into my second season, with a lot of autocross participations where I won in some of them.

I don't know if I am forgotten something important in my setup

So I paid particularly close attention to my oil temp today on the way home. 2016 Nismo Tech complexity stock with 400 miles. 240 degrees on the way home highway. 75 degrees outside temp.

Interestingly enough once I got out of the 45-50 mph traffics and cruised at 80 my oil temp came down.

I suggest having an oil cooler as OEM is nothing compared to bigger ones. After 34 row oil, when the temp outside is 95 F, the oil temps will not exceeds 200 F. Took the car to track twice after the oil cooler and I didn't see it goes over 220 F, while outside temp is between 85-100 F

That 19R came from previous owner I assume. I think you can easily use a 34R in Dubai lol. :driving:

True, it is from the previous owner, however, while trying it on the track and keep in mind (without cool-down lap) I never have an issue at all with oil temp.

It might be, because mine is not thermostatic.

You are not pushing it enough :rofl2: anyway it is an old post and my setup is old, maybe everybody can update their setups?

LMAO! All our cars and car setup have changed drastically since this thread was created. Just look at the tire choices and air pressures. So much has changed!

Believe me, I am .. you would be crazy if you see me on the track, 20 minutes without cool-down lap. and no issues at all.
Maybe because I just track on winter time, and I always use Motul 5w40.

Hope it helps.
Thanks and regards,

Don't get me wrong bro, a 7AT cannot finish one lap at Losail, I have manual and I used Motul v300 before, and now I use either Castrol or Amsoil 0w40 (trying to use what is available locally with same performance as motul), after two laps I am over 125C and I have 34 row oil cooler. Maybe our track is very hard on engines as it is a bike track with lots of WOT. Hopefully, I can visit other GCC tracks after all covid19 situation calms down.

And I will update my setup.

It is fine, I won't get you or anyone wrong in this forum, in fact I am here to share my humble experience.

However, you might be right about the track design itself. Anyway, we will have track day event on coming March.

You and others may google/search Yas Marina circuit full gp and the north/south configurations ..
Also we have Dubai autodrome too and it has different configurations as well.

Thanks,
