Which rear dif ?

Hello ! So I am in search for a new rear dif ! My car is a 2012 sport manual ! I just ordered a Fast intentions twin turbo setup and it will be here in a month and a half or so . I road race the car but also drive it on the street . I have a DD so it only has like 9k miles on it . So which rear dif should I go with that would work best for me ? Thanks Ken (PS If anyone needs a hitch contact me at 370z Hitch.com - Trailer Hitch, Towing, Trailer Hitches For Cars )

If its in the budget, go with the Giken.

Quaife is a good choice for a street car.

If it's primarily track with a little street go with a clutch type diff (OSG or Cusco). If it's mostly street with a little track get the Quaife.

If you decide to go with the Quaife let me know. I'll have a used one for sale in a couple weeks.

I am running the OSG and love it.

I went with Wavetrac because it performs like a clutch type diff as it locks where Quaife does not. The cost is comparable to Quaife and the maintenance is the same as oem.

I have an OSG 1.5-way going in as part of my new build.

Where did u get the wavetrac? I'm looking at getting a diff in a few weeks and it's between quaife and wavetrac for me.

Did you order any seals or new side bearings with it?

I got all the extras from different vendors. Z1 has a kit that includes a Nismo or Z1 rear differential cover. I ordered my the other flang from ConceptZ.

Waiting on my OS Giken to arrive :) Not sure if it's going to be a 1.5 or a 2 way.:icon14:

For OSG kind of money I think I would have made sure which one it was.

Picking up my Z tonight from the shop with my new Cusco RS 1.5 installed. Too bad the roads are wet so any real break in of the diff will have to wait.
