BC ER coilovers or OS Giken LSD??

Would anyone know exact part # for the extra stub axle that's needed with os Giken diff when upgrading from 2011 nismo?

It will fail and shut off when you redline. It works for daily driving though as long as you don't hit the rev limiter. ECUTEK has the only fix that I know of. I don't use syncro rev on track though.

I can agree with the downsides of coils but they do have their ups. I just put custom made coils on my car and while I do notice that I can put the power down better and earlier out of turns, the car is a bit more rough on the bumps. It has also taken me a long time to get them setup right as far as height and damping go. If I had to do it again I would have just gone with camber arms and a diff first then coils afterwards.

+1 for LSD
The stock suspension is made specifically for the car, and relies on body roll to shift the weight of the car and keep traction. Usually with coilovers, you just stiffen the suspension and can actually make your car handle worse than it did stock. Unless you spend like 3-4k or more on one of the more proven (track ready) brands like KW, you're just wasting cash. You may see slight improvement, but for the money, an LSD would be a much better investment imho.

Just installed whiteline sway bars and encountered a slight problem. It appears that the rear sway bar's lateral locks are too small to fit around the bar. Will the sway bar move out of position a lot or should I just get the proper replacement locks asap?

^^Run the stock rear swaybar (or no rear swaybar at all), and the Whiteline front.

I actually just had the LSD vs coilovers Dilemma like a week ago. The spring rates and the feel of my car in corners drives me absolutely insane. It feels like a boat, and far too dramatic under weight transfer. It's way way WAY too soft for my liking. The open diff. (My car is a base) drives me crazy as well, however I decided to first order a set of custom coilovers and SPL camber arms BEFORE the LSD to get a better feel of the car before I dive into a LSD. A LSD will more than likely give you instant speed and dramatic time cuts, but if you are going with coilovers down the road, you may have to re-learn how to drive the car once the coilovers and alignment are done. If you do coils and stuff FIRST, the learning curve could be less and easier once the LSD is installed because you'll have already done most of your tuning already. I hope this makes as much sense as it does in my head lol. Its all personal preference at the end of the day. They'll both be in the car at some point

If my car was base model I'd most likely would do the same thing. Since its a Nismo, the suspension is pretty stiff as is, plus I am putting down over 500 whp
so LSD should help to put the power down a lot more efficient. I set the sways at stiffest in the front and softest at the back. I have autocross in 2 weeks so well see how it performs. I also ordered the OS GIKEN a week ago so hoping it'll get delivered in time for that event as well.

Oh jesus. Had no idea it was 500whp. My mistake. Yea LSD will help you out alot and should be done asap lol. Good choice.
