Default Nissan and VIR team up

As a racer who raced at Road Atlanta back when Nissan was the corporate sponsor (who can forget the Nissan bridge as you swept up from the infamous Dip?), history repeats itself with a new tie-in with Virginia International Raceway.

After watching videos and hearing stories about how nice VIR is, it looks like I'll have to plan a visit in the future. Who knows? Maybe the SCCA Runoffs or another classic race will once again draw Nissan racers from around the country to compete at this classic NE circuit.

Nissan Official Sponsor at VIR

There a a number of big events at VIR this year, and there should be 370Zs in the mix for bot the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship in August and NASA East Coast Nationals in September.

Cool... I'm going to VIR in May for my 2nd track day there. It's an awesome track, smooth new pavement last year, around 3.5 miles long, long straights, great high speed s's.
The facility is beautiful too! I highly recommend it.
