Actually, VW use to make a Semi-Automatic Beetle. It's a stick shift with an automatic clutch. ;)

Yes I remember those old VW's. I never driven one of them but a far relative from my family had one of those and I remember him driving it but I never paid much attention since I was just a youngster. I knew it was semi-almost-automatic-whatyamacallit.

I know there is a tread in this forum (with pics) explaining how to disable completely the VDC system YAW control and else, and at the same time (with a switch) enabling the system back on for normal driving.
