13.3.B
4. Material Change: Tires which previously met the eligiblity requirements
that undergo a significant compound change, tread pattern
change, or other significant redesign reset the requirement for eligibility
described in Section 13.3.B.
5. A tire model which was previously allowed by these rules continues to
be eligible for competition until specifically disallowed.
6. Reintroduction: Models that were once discontinued will be considered
a new model once reintroduced and must meet all the requirements
of Section 13.3.

Regional events it depends on how your region is handling it.
National events you need to pony up.

I'm reading the eligibility requirements of 13.3.B.4 and B.5 as they are still legit. They do not refer back to the "specifications" of 13.3.A (200 UTQG). Hmmm?

The 140 version of the tire wasn't previously allowed by "these" rules, it was allowed by the old rules, so I don't think 13.3.B.5 applies.

Also, I believe the consensus is that there was a significant compound change from V1 to V2.

That being said, I'd be surprised if anyone protested you regionally, as those tires are at least 2-3 years old at this point, probably not at their finest in terms of grip...

Thanks for the clarification. Also, are the Street-R classes still in existence (ASR, BSR, etc.)?
