Under hard acceleration the fluid sloshes in the reservoir triggering the light. Go ahead and top it off a bit more unless you plan on replacing brake pads anytime soon.

The two main reasons for a dash light to turn on under hard acceleration are traction control sensing wheel slip and low brake reservoir level. The reservoir level needs to be FULL - some people have reported having to go a little bit above the full mark to completely eliminate the light.

It could be something else, but I like to check the easy stuff first.
