Likes over riding Reps

People may choose the like link because its quicker and you see who gave it to you rather than composing a message with the username

The downside is like you explained that you don't rep credit for the same positive posts or thread.

There is no way of linking them to get you the credit you're asking for.

I see the positive in the feature and negs like your complaining about.
