Sounds like a good plan, maybe make it a monthly newsletter though, then down the road you can throw in things like car of the month in it, X month

Sounds like a good plan, maybe make it a monthly newsletter though, then down the road you can throw in things like car of the month in it, X month "big" events coming this month, etc. Bi-monthly letters can sometimes result in one being bigger than the other or one lacking anything new or interesting.
