DFW: Rally for charity: Children's Book Run -- Back to School!

Twelve cars have entered the Children's Book Run as of this morning. That makes me expect nearly 30 by rally day. Cars include a BMW Z3 M Roadster, a Honda S2000 roadster, a Thunderbird, a WRX, oh yes, also an F150 pickup! The rally "classrooms" are ready for you, as is the Mellow Mushroom awards ceremony location...I think you will like this restaurant. I have been testing it out since they agreed to host us, and it's a neat place. The upstairs room is plenty big, and has its own bar. Ten-day forecast says Saturday will be 69 degrees warm: how's that for December? Just go to msreg.com/CBR14dec and join us!

Breaking news: I was just notified that one of our regular entrants will receive the second place trophy in Sportsman class for the 2014 SCCA National Rally Championship.
