Wanted to say hi and ask who's in the area

Hey guys,
I'm going to be moving from daytona beach, FL to Dallas, TX for a internship starting Jan 5th. So wanted to say hi to the local guys in texas and know which 370z owners were out there and if any good drag strip's / auto cross areas were around.

Kennedale (20-30 minutes south of Ft. Worth) 1/8 mile
Texas Raceway - North Texas Drag Racing - Dallas Ft Worth Drag Race - Kennedale Texas
Ennis (about an hour south of Dallas/Ft. Worth) 1/4 mile
Texas Motorplex - NHRA Drag Racing
Denton (about and hour north of Dallas/Ft. Worth) 1/8 mile
North Star Dragway
Crandall (about 20-30 minutes east of Dallas) 1/4 mile

Welcome! You will find a lot of the Dallas locals on our DFW Thursday meets page. I passed by Motorsport Ranch the other day and took a look at the track.... Looks pretty sick!

thanks guys, i'll definitly start comming to the thursday meets. I made the screen name in middle school and just kept it ever since lol.

Plus, what are the emmision rules in Dallas, for out of state plates ? I've got test pipes installed and don't know if that'll be a problem.

I'm pretty sure in Texas there is a fine of up to $25,000 for removing your catalytic converters. A lot of the locals go with high flow cats instead of test pipes.

Test pipes are fine.. just dont get caught. Most inspection places wont even check... if you dont have cel, you should be fine.

Dallas is a fun place foresure. I live in Atlanta now but lived in D for several years. Lots of restaurents, and then there is the Tollway.
