That would be cool however I dont think they have any room for more Nissans lol. Actually I just dropped off my fenders at the body shop with Manuel. Will go pick them up as soon as they call and install them back at my house.

Well, Manny has my front bumper to repaint and replace all the clips/brackets/fender liners. Then it goes to Jason to have my rear DSR spacers changed from 20mm to 10mm. Rumor has it he's tied-up on a white Nismo - come on Ron! :tiphat:

Seriously Ron, I hope you get your car back ASAP. I know it's hard waiting, but it will be worth it.

What happened to your bumper and why are you doing down on spacers?

Welllll I wouldn't say I had a bad experience with Baker but it certainly wasn't a good one. Had my car for 3 weeks, put the transmission in crooked, scratched my radio, didn't reinstall my stereo after uninstalling it, curbed a rim (fixed it but it's peeling paint now).

Soo... yeah!

I'm sure if you go talk to Brad or Paul, they'll take care of it for you. It's all about making relationships with people you trust. Both these guys have gone above and beyond to help me out.

I live in the Museum District, but I drive to Baker North to have my car serviced. They are the only people who touch my car, and if possible only Manny, James, or Jason.

I was in the service department twice while your car was there. I can honestly say that both times there were at least three to four guys swarming over your car. The second time I counted seven.

I don't know what is going on with Ron's, but Dreamer had a problem, and they took care of it. I think I've seen him at the dealership more than Brad!

Stuff happens, and when it does, it isn't fun for anyone. It's how the problem is dealt with and resolved that matters.

Well after all of it, they offered to fix the crooked tranny but I said I'll come in some other time because they had my car for just too damn long. Sick of driving that blue Altima lol.

It wasn't my insurance. It was Baker's obligation to give me their rental car when warranty work takes 48 hours or more.

Its not crooked like you think. Its just a bit harder to shift. The stock setup is set so you can push UP and to the RIGHT a little bit because we shift with our right arm. They put it in so I have to aim the shifter up and to the left a little bit like a RHD car would be. It makes 5th especially hard.

Ron 04-17-2012 10:37 PM

It's not the transmission then, its just the shifter base. I can fix that for you, shouldn't take but 10min

Since your turbo refuses to cooperate and you continue to corrupt all of Jason's time, can you install my spacers for me then? :bowrofl:

Sorry Matt, and now back to our regular programming.

Sweet. I also need to get my Autozone carjack shaft thingy back from your garage. I've been having to use the lug wrench to jack my car up and pliers to turn the knob to lower it back down lol.

Fo sho bro! We should talk about the "new area" at I-10/Beltway 8 for next week possibly. City Center you said was a cool place?

theDreamer 04-18-2012 08:44 PM

City Center is not bad, will need to see what places have opened up in the past few months since it has been under construction and new places always opening.
