The nylon bushing that holds the shifter onto the shift linkage was worn and a piece broke off it. I super glued it back on and ordered the 997 shifter assembly. Apparently it's a known problem for 996's.
It was good after that when I ran the cl65 and turbo s2k. I think you would have had both those cars and mine from a roll. That vette was nasty but the guy could not drive at all. |
