I don't have any mods on my Nismo I wonder how much I can gain with just the tune? How much do they charge if drive to Austin how can I tell if I already have a tune. Interestingly my car came from Austin and it seems to be really fast.

I've been working at a client at Four Oaks Place for the past few weeks. Not sure if that's what you're talking about.

A tune alone will not give you much, wait till you add some other performance upgrades and then do a tune.
The Nismo from factory has a slight bump in HP over the the coupe which comes from a different exhaust & slightly modified tune. Also, Uprev allows multiple tunes so you can tab through them with cruise control. I forget the process but I am sure others can help to see if you have a tune.

SSP, J Tran, and Secret Service Auto all do UpRev tuning here in Houston. I'd recommend the first two.

just a bunch of stock 18's for now until I pay off my last credit card. But in the future I see myself with 8 wheels all 10.5 +15 with Kenda tire 265/35's (which we get at $113 ea.) that I can take to drift events and have a full day of burning rubber. Our sponsor only provides 245's for 19" rims at $125 each and 255's for 20" rims at $130 each so Id rather stick with 18's. The Top Secret GTR (my motivation) runs Enkei GTC01 wheels but they only come in silver so Im thinking maybe Enkei RPF1's since they are 18lbs or the PF01 in black. My Advans are 22 lbs in the rear so that would be a good savings. If I want to go the JDM route, I love the Weds Sport TC105N's which also come in 10.5".

Don't ya'll agree that it would be better to part her out then sell as stock?

AwesomeZ, JTran, PowerFab, BakerTuning, EVS Motors, SSP. A lot you could find online.

Search the forum on the items you are looking at and then throw some suggestions up here and we will help you out. Also, many mods can be done at your own home or wait a bit and come meet up with us and many will help with the install on some items in the future. :tup: We like to do mod days and DIY stuff so people are usually willing to help if we have time.

Buy good JDM stuff, not cheap **** if you want the cash and the respect. Start with guru's HKS exhaust, its always cheapest to buy used from others and to help your fellow houstonians. We will even help you install it! :happydance:

I agree 100% with buying quality, authentic parts!!!! Knock-offs; 1) Always fail 2) Hurts the authentic manufactures 3) Aren't seen as highly from those that are truely informed on quality parts.
