Seriously cops are no joke here... they love school zones even if the streets are absolutely empty... Does the ticket say how he knew you were speeding? if he's stationary and not pacing you, you can probably argue that he couldn't possibly know what your speed was.

It was a motorcycle cop and on the ticket it says laser, even though my radar detector never went off. Ticket says 33 in a 20. I asked to see the evidence of my speed and he wasn't able to furnish it. He went back to his saddlebag case that holds the equipment and came back and said it was no longer there because he had to do 80mph to catch up to me...which is total bull. There was a stop light about 1/4 mile after the school zone so my speed didn't change much and he didn't have to go far to catch me...he pulled up behind me as I was just hitting the stop light. Besides, if he blew thru the school zone at 80mph, it's him that's being unsafe...not me.

I would likely guess he was hiding somewhere and saw my bright blue sports car slightly outpacing other traffic and then took a guess that if those cars are doing 20, then I'm likely doing 30.

Same thing here... got a speeding ticket with a lazer but my radar never went off either :mad: 19 over the speed limit :icon14: plus no plate on front bumper... fml..............

Does anyone have a tire hook-up? I went to price tires today at Discount Tire and NTB. If anyone knows a place that might can get me a better deal, please let me know soon.

I ended up getting mine from Discount Tire since it was cheapest with installation. Just make sure you watch them so they don't scratch your wheels. I don't know of any shops off hand that would be cheaper but maybe Nina does.

Yup we did. Definitely ate a lot lol and then 4 of us ended up going to see fast five midnight showing in west plano.

Although we've been changing week to week, I think we should figure out a set place in case it gets confusing for new people that want to join up.

We usually meet in the Las Colinas area but we change venues every week to try different places and to keep it interesting. We have yet to decide where to go next Thursday so if you have any suggestions, let us know.

Just watched fast 5 tonight. It was actually pretty entertaining. Although there were some parts that were pretty ridiculous.

Well as far as a consistent meeting area, I guess the original Las Colinas area would be good. Might be enough variety there to just change restaurants every week but keep it in that same place. Unless someone has a better idea.

I dont mind the las colinas spot at all. It's actually a pleasant drive up there most of the time.

I think the Las Colinas spot thus far is the best location. Plenty of food choices decent parking after 9 and as centrally located as we can get.
