Need recommendations for a good tint installer in DFW

I am still searching for a good tint installer/shop in the Dallas area, even after I've searched the forums. I've called a lot of shops and the prices vary wildly.

Default Need recommendations for a good tint installer in DFW

I am still searching for a good tint installer/shop in the Dallas area, even after I've searched the forums. I've called a lot of shops and the prices vary wildly.

Can anyone recommend a good installer that they've used for their Z and indicate what you had installed from them on your car?

Here is what I am looking for...
1) Will tint the entire car including front wind shield.
2) Uses quality film LLumar, Formula1 or 3M.
3) Has worked on the 370z before
4) Good Price.

Thanks for the help...

custom concepts in allen, tx off mcdermott did mine. They do a lot of custom stuff, so I doubt they'd have a problem doing a windshield. I've had 4 cars tinted with them, had slight bubbling on 1 and they re-did it on their own dime to make sure it was perfect.

Did my tint for sides and rear for $150-$170ish, can't remember for sure, but it was 3M tint.

I had mine done at tritek in garland, they did an awesome job. good shop for custom tinting. price is reasonable. 150 for tinting. with 3 yr warranty. 200 for tinting for life time warranty. they use maddico tint.

Tinting of the windshield is not just difficult, it's illegal (non-moving violation). It is, however, hard to test. You can only used those flashlights because the standard tester has to slide over both sides. I used to have a 50% on my windshield (and 26% everywhere else, including the sunroof) and never had an issue. It does make dealing with inspection and registration stickers a pain though. You have to stick them to something clear and tape them to the windshield (tint).

Thanks for all of the replies. I am going to skip on the front shield tint and use that cash towards other mods. I'll check the suggested shops out and will report back after the install is complete.

How'd it go? I'm curious to hear your experience.

I got Formula 1 Pinnacle 15% installed at Tritek in Richardson today. It took them a little bit over an hour for them to install. I'll post pictures once the film has had time to dry.

Lbk888, can you post some pics? I've been considering 15% and wanted to know if it was dark enough for my tastes.
