^ I'm a Seahawks fan. Lol. Didn't happen this weekend for both of you and a very large population of the country.
Every team I hoped to win this weekend did win. Up next: Seahawks - Packers = Seahawks Colts - Pats = Colts I predict a very exciting Superbowl between the two. |

**** the Packers. **** Green Bay, **** the NFL, **** the ref's, and **** the replay system.
Also, **** the Pats and Seachickens. My only hope is Indy now. I don't want the Seachickens to repeat, but they can lose the SB. The Packers - I hope their plane crashes, bunch of cheating faggots. That is all. /endrant I still won my four-team parlay though! Baltimore +7 / Dallas +5.5 / Seachickens -11.5 / Indy +7. :woot: |
The catch heard 'round the world..
http://cdn.fansided.com/wp-content/b...ay-packers.jpg Everyone agrees the Cowboys were screwed. |
I hate the cowboys... But that definitely was a BS call

This rule has been around for a few years now, not sure why all you NFL fans are so confused about the call... anybody remember this? |
:iagree: Correct call. Bad rule. Although, I think an argument can be made that he established possession and made a football move by diving for the endzone.
Ground can't cause a fumble. But it can cause an incompletion :shakes head: Just stupid that you can't demonstrate possession of the ball after a catch unless you run with the ball afterwards. If you catch a ball with outstretched arms and tuck it away into your body before hitting the ground, that is possession. Plain and simple. |
Incorrect call. Horrible rule.
The fact that he made a football move (he took three steps and lunged for the endzone) negates any "possession to the ground" call. And the ground cannot cause a fumble, therefore it's a catch and he's down on the one yard line. ******* ********. **** the NFL ******* pieces of ******* ****. **** the Packers and their fans, twats. |
i hope the seahawks destroy greenbay

"Although the receiver is possessing the football, he must maintain possession of that football throughout the entire process of the catch. In our judgment he maintained possession but continued to fall and never had another act common to the game. We deemed that by our judgment to be the full process of the catch and at the time he lands and the ball hits the ground it comes loose as it hits the ground, which would make that incomplete. Although he re-possesses it, it does contact the ground when he reaches so the repossession is irrelevant because it was ruled an incomplete pass when he had the ball hit the ground." -Dean Blandino Whine about the rule, not the call. |

I don't get how so many of you haters fail to see that he made a football move. Your bias is mind blowing.
I know Steelers, Eagles, Giants, Redskins, Cardinals, etc. fans that agree it was a catch. |
I'm a fan, but I am honest and impartial - I'd agree (even if I hated to do so) if it wasn't a catch, but this was a catch. No two ways about it. The NFL officials got it wrong.
And of course the NFL and the head of officials is going to back their ref's shitty call - they can't take another (there were three awful calls this weekend) hit and throw them under the bus. ******* twats. |
Aaron Rodgers on one leg will still demolish the Seahawks. Sad, but true. Oh, and rules are rules. It was a great call and even more fantastic challenge by Coach McCarthy. Hopefully the Patriots will advance so the Pack can destroy them for a second time this season.
GO PACK GO!! |

Y'all don't deserve it. Not one bit. ******* **** organization, and this is coming from someone with Jerry Jones as the owner/GM. Hah! |

"If a player goes to the ground in the act of catching a pass (with or without contact by an opponent), he must maintain control of the ball throughout the process of contacting the ground, whether in the field of play or the end zone. If he loses control of the ball, and the ball touches the ground before he regains control, the pass is incomplete. If he regains control prior to the ball touching the ground, the pass is complete." 1. Dez Bryant didn't go to the ground in the act of catching the pass. He had completed reception and control before going to the ground. 2. Dez Bryant didn't lose control of the ball until after the ball contacted the ground. |

american footballs needs to become more popular and overtake soccer as the world's most popular sport
it requires more athleticism and is funner to watch and play |

Dez Bryant didn't make catch in Dallas Cowboys' loss: 'Nobody likes this rule' but that was not a TD - Mike Pereira | FOX Sports |

I agree that wasn't a catch. I agree with Karma that promptly came back and bit Dallas in the butt because they shouldn't have been there, Detroit should have. Bad calls are part of the game, when it happens to the opponent it's certainly OK, when it happens to your team people lose their minds. It's a funny double standard. |

Here is a couple pictures of when the Seahawks came down to my job site to learn how to drive and operate the Stryker vehicle back in 2008.. ya know, for some PR. I'm on the top left with the face mask on in the first picture, can't remember the 2 players beside me but the guy on the bottom right was Greg Knapp the offensive coordinator. |

Though, I think this is sarcasm. Quote:
Pereira is wrong 90% of the time when they bring him on. Couldn't give two ***** what he thinks, he's not a ref nor the head of ref's anymore. He will say what he thinks will appease Fox and the home team. Take his opinion with a grain of salt. |

TIL winning by 5 is destroying a team. |
At this point, whether it was a catch or not is irrelevant. What is relevant is Seattle isn't strong enough to defend the title.
