Jacky was exactly #50 :icon17:

Was happy to see Sagna. I think Walcott would be deserving of a low spot as well.

Red370 05-18-2011 04:25 PM

Agreed. As much as I hate the new kit, I think i'm going to be ordering the #19 this year, figured i'd support an Englishmen when I travel to London and watch them smash the yids next season

phelan 05-18-2011 04:26 PM

ughh....honestly i don't htink i'll get the kit. i want the training shirt though. the shirt with a collar looks classy.

I love the collar.

cow 05-19-2011 08:36 PM

I'm shocked Puyol wasn't on that list.

He was a great substitute but he deserves to play more. Bayern have other players like Kroos to make Altintop expendable.

Jon@AAMComp 05-20-2011 08:50 AM

That list was a waste of time. How does Gareth Bale possibly rank higher than Ryan Giggs, Diego Forlan, Schweinsteiger, Pedro or Alexandre Pato? Yes, he is a supremely talented footballer, but I wouldn't rank him that high on this list. As cow mentioned earlier, how is Carles Puyol NOT on this list? Last time I checked, his national team has just been crowned the best in the world, and his club side is in the final to be crowned best in Europe for the second time in 3 years. Yet Luis Suarez is in the top 30...

Drogz only 57 wtf?? Essien ranked too high. 3 years ago, yes, he was a beast in midfield, now he's just a shadow of his former self.

How can Subotic possibly rank higher as a defender than Evra and Sagna?

:shakes head:

blue660r01 05-20-2011 10:53 AM

Obviously that list sucks. We all know the top 11 should be the starters for the German National side http://www.conjointgaming.com/forum/...lface_copy.png

So Chelsea lose the final game of the season to Everton, and Carlotti is sacked. Hiddink and Mourinho are the two managers we're after to replace Ancelotti, reported by the Daily Mail:

Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink in frame as Carlo Ancelotti is sacked | Mail Online

It would be nice to have a manager at the club for more than one season. With or without silverware. I think Ancelotti will end up in Torin at Juve.

phelan 05-23-2011 10:32 AM

Mourinho won't be in charge next year. Real's already said he'll be back.

Quite a fickle club, though, to sack a double-winning manager, no? I was honestly surprised there was so much angst against Ancelotti, I thought he was doing the best he could with an ostrich like Torres in the team.

Congratulations to ManUtd, hopefully next year will be better. Feel bad for Blackpool, I really wanted them to stay up.

lmao if Holloway really said this!

Red370 05-24-2011 08:01 AM

Welp, Clichy, Denilson, Bendy all claiming to be wantaways (we all know they were getting axed, hence why they're coming out and claiming they "want" to leave). Hope AW's got some prospects lined up. Gibbs is a fit replacement for Clichy, but he seems a bit fragile, we're definitely going to need cover at LB now.

cow 05-24-2011 06:36 PM

Gibbs (right now) sucks as a defender. I wouldn't trust him starting regularly at all, & that's not taking his chequered injury history into consideration.

phelan 05-24-2011 06:43 PM

:iagree: On the market for a CB, LB, DM, and CF this year.

Probably will need a CM with Cesc leaving. I couldn't be arsed to watch the Fulham game, but the skipper in Barcelona to watch the Grand Prix? c'mon Cesc.

cow 05-27-2011 03:49 PM

Nasri looked to be the best free kick taker all season. Too bad he never scored from one.

there is absolutely nothing I hate more than when a supposed "professional" footballer sends a ball into the wall, the U-15's I coached last year could get the ball up and over the wall and on target, shit, I dont even think i've hit the wall in a few years.

cow 05-28-2011 07:27 PM

"Hitting the wall" is a good euphemism for Arsenal's season.

In other news, the CL final was a great match, especially in the first half. The second confirmed Barcelona are head & shoulders above everyone.

I'm interested to know the story on Berbatov.

phelan 05-28-2011 07:57 PM

he won't be a manc next year, that's for sure. rumors are saying he wasn't even in wembley when he didn't make the bench. weird...he gets a quintet in one game, and then disappears...?

little leo messi...was everywhere. VDS probably got caught a bit flat footed for that goal, but messi on his day is absolutely unstoppable. hell, BARCA on their day is unstoppable...like today. 71% possession until they just stopped giving a ****.

blue660r01 05-28-2011 08:17 PM

Did you see the ESPN articles sayin why Man U is better? LOL they are such nuthuggers

lol frailty in the air.

0 corner kicks for ManU, so much for that!

cow 05-29-2011 09:23 AM

It's hard to get a corner kick when the ball is in your defensive half for 97.73747% of the match.

blue660r01 05-29-2011 03:43 PM

ESPN is the biggest Man U nuthuggers its so pathetic lol.

What a freaking strike.

I saw a tweet saying it was the first time in a CL final that a team had scored two goals from outside the area.
