Spain are the best team in the world right now. They are talented and classy. They have some of my favorite players in the world.

I think I'll stick with just Spain for now. Need to watch a lot more to determine which other teams I like.

I just know that if you get into baseball, you'll become a Yankees fan, and basketball, probably Lakers or Heat.

I was born in Pakistan, lived in NY for 13 years, have been in MD for 8 years and somehow I'm a Patriots and Spain fan. :rofl2:

Only sports I watch are UFC and football (both kinds). I'll watch the occasional tennis grand slam finale, but don't really care about any other sports.

I agree with everything you said about RVP. We thought we knew him, that he wouldn't "do us" like the others, but in the end, it shows how little we as fans know about our "heroes." Hopefully he can be cashed in & will never enjoy another season as great as the last one. He's about due for another injury anyway.

Speaking of Del Piero, I still cannot believe Juventus let him go. If anyone deserves to be on a rolling contract until retirement, it's Alessandro Del Piero. He was one of the world's best strikers at the time & stuck with the club throughout their Serie B season & their subsequent relatively "meh" seasons. At least he went out on top as a Scudetto winner.
