Just my 2 cents but if Pirelli would make a good tire that doesn't go off in just a handful of laps it would make the racing much better. Right now it's more about tire management than actual driving talent/car design. If Pirelli just made a tire that allowed them to race hard even for 20-30 laps it would make a huge difference. I say blame Pirelli not the teams/drivers for the poor racing.

The FIA and Bernie asked Pirelli to make tires that degrade quickly. The teams pushed for changes after the Brit GP this year. The tires now are almost what we had last year. Alonso asked Paul Hembrey why they chose the super soft at Korea.

He told Alonso his boss(Alonso's) asked for them!!! Hoping to slow Red Bull down. OOPS! Red Bull are winning on the same tires. Doing a better job. Wanna beat Red Bull - Do a better job with your car. Im liking this year even with the Bulls being so successful. They have earned it!

:iagree:

I personally believe the characteristic of the current tyre adds much more element into racing, drivers have to have different driving style to conserve the tyre according to the strategy, designer has to fine tune the chassis even more in order to max out between the performance and lifespan of the tyre too.

I found the races are more exciting, and especially to the midfield.

Regarding Red Bull vs others, they are using the same tyres, they do have a better car... can't complain about it...

Yes Grosjean provided us a great race. He did well and hopefully Lotus will have a good car next season for him to progress. Better race than I thought it would be.

I like them. It's an older version, but I think they're decent for desktop speakers. I've also got the subwoofer under my desk.

I almost get one of those because of the high score on most reviews...

eventually I bought a bluetooth reveiver that connect to the AUX-in of the Hi-Fi, now the audio from the computer all comes out from the system

It will be an historic achievement for Vettel but I don't know why but somehow I am not excited about it at all...

it just reminds me those Schumacher-Ferrari era when you know the race result after the qualify.... :ugh2:

but the battle between Mercedes and Lotus and Ferrari will be exciting....

what a pity for Grosjean tho.... what a glitch..... :icon14:

Looking forward to it....!!

Nice comeback by Grosjean.

I hope Vettel retires. For the sake of a more competitive F1 next year.

trade him to Caterham... that'll make a better world for sure....

I'm baffled why everyone wants a good driver and when he is good for too long, begin to hate him. I don't get it.
Vettel is an amazing driver. How soon we forget that he scored the first point for Torro Rosso.
To each his own I guess.

I don't dislike Vettel, and I agree he is very talented too..

Just the sports become boring when you have one team dominant the race so badly and people starts question is the driver or the car.

In Red Bull case... I am pretty sure... it's both.

Yeah, he's an amazing driver. But it's like when Schumacher was dominant...it gets boring year after year.

I'm just always impressed when someone is so good at what they do. Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Chip Foose, Schumacher, etc.
I think Adrian Newey impresses me more than anyone. The guy is a savant.

Williams, McLaren and Red Bull.

The "gossip" between Raikkonen and Lotus is more exciting than the race... :bowrofl:

I am quite shocked about Lotus having difficulties on securing sponsorships since they are one of the top four this season with many podium finish.

Hopefully he can pull out a good start, you know, starting is Webber's weakness... :ugh2:

I have a feeling either Hamilton or Rosberg could take the 1st corner...

Yes I was still happy with it. Some good racing behind Vettel. Im proud of him though and he is making history. He is on fire for now. Next year will be great as we reset with the new formula!

TreeSemdyZee 11-03-2013 06:06 PM

Nearly 30 seconds ahead after 13 laps. Unbelievable. I get the feeling that Red Bull has discovered a new strategy based on the India race. Start with softs and just rip the crap out of them so that the gap is so huge that nobody can catch him.
I sometimes wonder if Seb is going to get so far ahead that his focus slips. Pretty amazing to see.
How 'bout Kimi?

He does has the skill to master the car AND the tires, which the latter is very important for the race.

He is... on his own class at the moment.

I won't worry about his concentration, he has a habit that is keeps making fastest lap til the end, the good is he pushes til the end.. the bad is this is not what the engineer and team principal like to see strategically.

Raikkonen...? He retired after the first corner after being tipped by a Caterham.... :icon14:

Yeah. I know about Kimi. The end-of-the-season drama unfolds again. He left the scene pretty quickly. Guess I wouldn't be real big on sticking around when my employer doesn't want to pay me.
