Great ending for Mark Webber! Loved the no helmet drive and the end of his podium celebration. Fall and all. I'm going to miss him in F1.

I loved all of the donuts. FIA had to be having strokes over that.

Nice! :iagree: the doughnuts at the end of the race were awesome! or that spanish wave looked cool too!
Brazil's course looks like one I would love to drive, then again is there even an F1 track that I wouldn't want to drive? |

Michael Schumacher is in critical condition after emergency brain surgery after the retired race car driver was hurt while skiing. He was in France and hit his head while skiing.
|
no update since then.... hope things will go well...
|
Based on the press conference this morning it's extremely serious. He is in a medically induced coma right now while they attempt to control swelling in his brain. They said that the impact would not have been survivable without a helmet, so it was definitely a big one. If he pulls through there will be a very long road to a possible recovery. There is no way to tell just how much brain damage has been done just yet.
I hope for the best and that he can make it through and work on as full a recovery as possible. |

I think it is a good thing Ron Dennis is re-appointed as CEO, but the affect might not be immediate since the build of the '14 contender is almost done and team personals are all set.

Michael Schumacher's condition is no longer critical, his management announced in a statement.
For the first time since his skiing fall almost three weeks ago, the 45-year-old German's condition was described on Friday simply as "stable", although he remains in coma. "Michael's family is very happy and confident with the work of the team of doctors treating Michael, and they trust them completely," said the seven time world champion's manager, Sabine Kehm. Kehm dismissed reports of recent days suggesting the great former Ferrari and Mercedes driver might never emerge from his coma, or that if he does, he will not not recover to full health. "Unfortunately I have to repeat that any information regarding Michael's health not coming from the doctors treating him or from his management must be treated as pure speculation," she said. |
