Probably better than Sanchez.....
I had Eli in one of my leagues last year who was very up and down. I was #1 in my league at the end of the regular season and the Giants picked the worst time to get shut out by the Falcons. That game cost me the championship because I had 5 giants players on my team. I think they got me less than 2 pts combined... |
Eh, I don't do fantasy football. It's much easier to talk **** when you don't have to root for a team just because you need one player to do well.
|
It keeps me interested in throwball. Otherwise I just get frustrated and turn it off.
Also a reason I go to the bar, I can watch the other games. :icon17: |
I like the sport itself enough to watch pretty much whatever game is on. Except the Titans (except when they play Houston). **** Bud Adams for stealing our team.
|
It's not that I don't like the game, I do, but I get too emotionally involved... lol. In all sports.
|
It's pretty much just NFL/NCAA football these days. I used to like baseball, but I live in Houston. I'm done with the Lastros.
|
I started playing fantasy football like 2 years ago and got addicted. It does help you learn about a wider variety of players in the league.

Broncos could be without one of its best defensive players in Von Miller, whom is facing a 4 game suspension and could miss the Opener vs the Ravens.

Can't go wrong with Cam Newton as your QB for fantasy. I picked up Nicks and he didn't do **** for me! But I heard he will have a good year this year. So we shall see.
Romo was a garbage QB for fantasy last year. Beside his final game where he got 50 points. |
Matt Ryan signs 5 year $103.75M contract with the Falcons.

1 playoff win. I think he deserves a extension but not 100 million. one playoff win..... talk about a gamble! |
Yeah it's stupid that he's getting paid more than Flacco, even though Flacco just won Super Bowl MVP. I'm fine with him getting $100M, but shpuld have been less than Flacco.

Ryan: 1 playoff win since being drafted. to me they are banking hard. on prayers.. |
It's not like either of them will ever see $100m out of the deal. Three years in it'll get renegotiated. The "$100m deals" are bs numbers since they're so back end heavy. Teams know they'll redo the contract before you hit those cap-unfriendly years. Might as well only look at the signing bonus and the first three years of salary.
|
Flacco isn't worth the money the Ravens spent on him. He's an average QB at best, def. not elite.
|
The money being thrown around is stupid, esp. for average to above average QBs... and even below average ones (Romo).
|
flacco and his agent admitted that the deal in reality is a 3 year deal, even tho it says 5 year on the contract, because in year 3 flacco's cap number is like 28 million. or something like that. and his agent said there's no way the team could afford that number.
his cap number this year however is 6 million. |

his body of work overall speaks for him and his yardage is gradually increasing from year to year. more or less. |

what im worried about now is Flacco's WR's outside of Torrey and Pitta. hopefully they can make the plays when its needed most! lol |
You should be. Jacoby Jones used up his quota of catches for the next three years in last years postseason.

im hoping one of the young guys step it up. or 2.... Torrey did say that he's excited from our offense and our young group of WR's...... said everyone will be surprised... im hoping he's right lol. |
I was so happy you took him off our hands since he gave you the playoff game the year before. Then the ************ decided to learn how to play last winter.
|
They sold their best receiver too. :icon17:

Flacco I will say is a lot like Eli. For most of the regular season he's just ok, but when he gets on his hot streak he is definitely elite. He definitely had some big time clutch plays in the playoffs last year.
I'm just glad Ryan didn't get paid more than Rodgers. Rodgers definitely deserves the title of top paid player for a while. |

Hope Romo has a long stay at Dallas. Makes my day when the camera shifts to Jerry after Romo screws up.
