I have to wonder how Denver will do this year. They've lost Dumervil, and they'll be without Von Miller to start the season. Bailey, Wolfe, and Welker are all questionable.

Welker should be good to to for the the regular season. I think Peyton Manning is good enough to overcome a bad defense. I think the Broncos will go as far as they did last year, but probably without the #1 seed. I still think it will be Patriots vs Ravens again for the AFC championship.

Their offense might take a step back, but their defense should be better. I think that losing Boldin will hurt them.

Flacco definitely lost his go to man with that one. according to Ozzie Newsome though he said that trading Boldin was the necessary sacrifice to retool the defense. he said that if they hadn't of traded Boldin.... the team would not have signed Elvis Dumervil,Chris Canty, Marcus Spears, and Michael Huff.

going to be a rough year for the broncos with all the injuries and turnover. sucks after coming so close last year. especially sucks with how high expectations are likely to be. The Welker hate is overblown and I expect good things from him lined up between DT88 and Decker. If he and PM can get on the same page, I think the Broncos offense will be exciting to watch.

Ravens are stacked with their offseason pickups. I was expecting a one-and-done, but I think they'll go far this year. Doom is going to fill the gaps left nicely. I'm predicting a painful home loss to start off the broncos season...one that likely would not have happened had the fax machine been working.

the jury is still out on the Ravens WR group, outside of Torrey... and possibly jacoby.... we're still trying to find that guy or guys that can separate themselves. so far no player on the team other than Torrey has separated themselves consistently... and that's what has me worried.

I think part of the reason the Ravens have been effective is distributed WR talent (and also a really good running game). It's non-traditional and most teams don't have the CB/S depth to handle the style of passing game the Ravens run. We shall see how it plays out in the regular season though.

I don't think Tebow will make the final 53 man roster. If Brady/Mallet go down during the season, I can see them re-signing Tebow, but I think his roster spot could be used for someone more important.

He wouldn't be there as qb3, he'd be there to be a wrinkle.

I don't think so. I don't think they would keep him there for just that when there are other more pressing needs on the team. I can see them cutting Tebow to keep Gronkowski's spot on the roster. They also need more depth at DT/OL. Then again, you never know what BB has up his sleeve. Maybe we haven't seen the real Tebow packages yet.

I'm still not excited yet about throwball starting.

Maybe when Sunday rolls around I will be. Doesn't mean I'm not going to watch Thursday, but it may be the kick in the rear I need to get me into it.
