I have FIOS, although I'm switching to comcast this week, but I had Velocity on FIOS.

Just curious, why the switch to Comcast? I originally switched from Comcast to FiOS and loved it. I don't think I could ever go back to Comcast.

Because of Fios' customer service. Their dishonesty and ineptitude have caused me a great deal of trouble and cost me money. They scammed me.

That sucks to hear. That's the same reason I hated Comcast so much, but I haven't had any bad experiences with FiOS customer service.

The problem is that they're both so powerful in this region. If you want cable tv with little interruption and blazing fast internet, they are the only games in town, so they can both afford to treat their customers like absolute pig vomit. Don't worry, b1ades, when they screw up and it costs you money, you'll see just how poor their customer service is. Just like Comcast. I hated Comcast and left as soon as FIOS became available. Well I haven't had any issues in the 3-4 years I've had FiOS and I hope it continues like that. During my last couple months with Comcast, the cable kept going out for some inexplicable reason and it just pissed me off so much. It was happening as much as 3-4 times per week. Haven't had that issue since I switched to FiOS.
