The thing I hate about hearing that "Flacco outplayed Tom Brady" is that no one looks at the defenses each one is up against. This year was a bit different since the Ravens' defense hasn't been as good as before, but Brady is usually facing an elite Ravens' defense while Flacco is facing an absolutely terrible Patriots' defense.
Yesm I'm still mad that we lost that game :icon17: |

Between the 49er's and patriots = the least wanted scenario for steelers fans lol. Best would have been if atlanta won the superbowl cus no one cares about them. |
Supharbaughl was the scenario I wanted least. The 2 teams I root against the most.

I'm hoping we get sign Osi Umeniyora through FA, he would be a good addition to our defense. |

If we can get a decent secondary then I think we have a better chance. Both of the SB games were close and game down to the final drives.

Should be different now with RG3

Ed Reed Clarified his Comments today (referring to the Reed-Patriot talk)
Wake-up: Ed Reed tones down Patriots talk - AFC North Blog - ESPN "....I was asked, would I play for Bill Belichick? Yes. What football players wouldn’t play for Coach Belichick? Will I be in New England? Most likely not. It’s just terrible that people get half the story.... " |
Yeah I thought that was weird when I first saw it. Have to admit though, I did get excited at the thought of Ed Reed coming to NE. If for some reason Ravens don't sign him, I think he'll either come here or go to Indianapolis.

There's a chance we might lose Welker if he decides to go somewhere else for more money. Not sure if we'll be able to keep Talib either.

Joe..... love the way your playing......... but to command Peyton Manning Money.... (from a report he is seeking to be paid MORE money than Manning) and eat up our cap space..... :( lol tragic... which means we wont be able to resign our other "elite" players..... |
I think Brady's taking up like $22M in cap space next year.

to me personally, no person on earth in the NFL should be paid millions of dollars for a game we all played when we were younger...for free and just as much enjoyment at doing it right lol....... but that's just my opinion. lol

Like this sentiment? Don't fool yourself. I didn't while I was in Iraq. Me fighting in iraq had absolutely nothing to do with "Defending american freedoms" and everything to do with PNAC. Plus the standing Army is ~500,000. And soldiers get paid by taxes. You don't want soldiers to get paid the same as NFL Players. It would break this already broken economy. Also, they know that we will buy merchandise, we will watch the broadcasts. The NFL is a business. Their objective is to maximize profits. Nothing more, nothing less. As every business's objective should be. |

For instance, I make more than most because I have awesome hair. Not many people have awesome hair. |
I just think its kinda crazy that its game we have all played without millions of dollars in our pockets and I just think it should be the other way around with our soldiers. that's all.
ANYWAY...... in other News..... Jim Harbaugh's Eldest son works as an Intern on John Harbaughs Raven Staff..... to which Jim's son is helping the Ravens with preparation for the game this sunday. Jim Harbaugh's son helping Ravens prepare for Sunday - NFL.com |
So apparently the Patriots and Tom Brady (#12) won their first Super Bowl on my 12th birthday. If only I watched football back then :icon17:

My birthday has been good luck for me in terms of Super Bowls, so maybe we will get a double loss this year :rofl2:
