I think the Ravens and Patriots might be in the same position they were in this previous season and hopefully with the same result :D

Ravens and Patriots are playing in Baltimore next season, perfect game to go see my first live sporting event. I will be there for sure.

Having never been to a football game before, which seats are the optimal ones? Not talking about any luxury skybox crap or whatever, but something more affordable. It's probably the only game I'll go to in a while so I want to get good seats but not too expensive. Going to get one for me and one for my cousin as a bday present since he is a diehard Ravens fan.

There are really no bad seats in M&T Bank Stadium, from a view perspective. Generally, 50-yard-line seats are pricier, and the lower seats are pricier, as you have a better view of the entire game, but we usually grab seats in the corner of an end zone, as you get to see scoring plays up close, and the jumbotrons in the stadium make up for a lot of what you miss at the other side of the field. I hope that you guys have a great time (and that Baltimore wins).

Yeah I'll look into it more once they actually go on sale. I'm afraid to wear any Patriots gear at the risk of getting shot in Baltimore :icon17:

There are divided schools of thought on that. If you wear pats stuff and sit near Baltimoreans who are full of "liquid courage", you'll get harassed during the game. It could be friendly ribbing, it could be worse.

I feel like you should be able to root for your team and wear their colors, as long as you're being nice to the people around you. I've met a lot of people at local sporting events who were cool people in the other team's jersey.

Just as long as you don't wear a Steelers jersey into M&T, because f*ck them. :roflpuke2:

i went to 2 games last year.... first was Ravens-Bengals with FIrst place in the division on the line and the next was Ravens-49ers, Historical matchup brother vs brother. i was heart broken man when they didnt review that pass to Evans in the Endzone in the playoffs.... i want Reed to get One ring, to make his NFL venture worth while.. and add to his already impressive Hall of Fame Resume'....especially since Ed's been teetering with retirement for the past 4-5 years....

Luckily for me my cousin is a black belt. Only Pats gear I have is my AFC championship shirt. The new Nike NFL jerseys are supposed to come out later this year so I will probably pick up one of those.

Blades, forget that Jersey, pick up a Dolphins jersey, then you'll be a winner, and you wont be trolling...

I would not wear pats gear in bmore.

Like most teams, most of the fans are cool, but the risk isn't worth it. There are enough loose cannons there that it is too much of a risk.

Worst that happened to me at a skins game was a full beer dumped on my head. I got cold-clocked in Baltimore.

I'll probably just wear it in the car on the way back if we win. :icon17:

NFL news for the day:

-Peyton Manning is getting cut from the Colts. Kind of expected by now, but now it's (almost) official. Where do you think he will go? I'm thinking either the Dolphins, Redskins, or the Cardinals. I think the Dolphins will take Flynn though.

-Seems like Randy Moss' workout for the Saints went well. He could be a dangerous combo with Brees at QB.

Thechidz 03-06-2012 09:16 PM

I expect the packers to play like they have something to prove. With some healthy d-lineman and ANY kind of a pass rush watch-the-fuk-out
