I think Smith will go to KC though.

If he's at the end of his career then he would match the qb's we seem to always get. Hell after last weeks loss I had to double bag my head to hide the shame. Still my team win or lose. It just seems they prefer the losing part.

The priest got a little to rough . That's called roughing the passer .

Though with KC's luck, they'll get Smith and he'll go back to being a terrible QB without Jim Harbaugh.

Our offenses line would make Aaron Rodgers look like he was a third string QB.

Bad part is they will " Al Davis " a pick. 4 years with top 15 first round picks with zero results. Is Texas A&M s QB ready to go pro? Here's to wishful thinking.

b1adesofcha0s 11-26-2012 12:26 PM

Wonder if Kaepernick will be the Tebow of this season? He's doing good now, but once defenses figure him out will he be able to play at that same level? The Pats ended Tebow time last year, let's see if we can do the same to Kaepernick this year.

I think he'll play for at least 2 more seasons and then probably become the #1 pick whenever he decides to go pro.

tower74 11-26-2012 12:32 PM

Yeah. When he went down on Saturday you could hear a flea fart in that stadium.

Well when you have defense that keeps up with the offense in the amount of points scored even Matt cassell would look good.

Yeah that's true. I think we will be the 49ers and it will definitely be a good game. Potential Super Bowl preview.

He has a better team around him that isn't likely to deal him soon. Plus, he made a couple throws yesterday that Tebow couldn't have made in his wildest dreams. I'd say he's good young talent and if the 49ers continue to develop, he could do well.

Yeah that's true, but no team has fully prepared for him yet or even had much game tape on him. Not saying he's gonna be bad, but if he goes through his rookie slump at a bad time, then it could be bad for the 49ers. He's definitely their QB of the future though.

elperuano 11-26-2012 06:03 PM

Must send a bad message to anyone thinkin of goin to the Niners, especially a QB. Get hurt and lose ur starting job while u to 6-1(I think). The business side of the nfl is very cut throat. I hope the players do the same thing as well.

b1adesofcha0s 11-26-2012 06:11 PM

Yeah but at least they have shown enough to get themselves a starting job on a different team. I think Smith and Matt Flynn may both end up on new teams next season.

I disagree. Its not like Alex smith was the primary reason they were winning. He was a game manager. His job was not to **** it up. Not to win the games.

elperuano 11-26-2012 06:21 PM

Alex Smith has been there and paid dues I think. Yea he was a game manager but wasn't all that bad. The team jus invested in him and signed him to a new deal. To crap on him cuz this new guy had 1 good game and a decent one yesterday? He's not proven, no defenses have prepared for him. What happens when reality sets in and he turns out to be nothing? Turn back to Alex? Lol I do hope that happens, then Alex should ask for a killer raise. Nfl side is cut-throat, players should be also.

yeah cept he has no position to stand on to ask for a raise.

The players dont have the power. Ask wallace.

I dont blame them for taking a chance on someone who could be more than a game manager. at worst Alex Smith recovers from his injury.

elperuano 11-26-2012 06:26 PM

I know the players don't have the powers just sucks to see things like this. Everyone wants a QB that'll be a winner from the get go. Alex Smith recovers n Niners need him back, must hurt his confidence knowing they will drop u like nothing.
Coaches will say about a rookie the need to mentor them, have them watch games n learn BEFORE you put them in a game. Those days r long gone, now u just stick em in there n pray to God he's gonna get u a Lombardi trophy.

its how the game is.. I dont think its a bad thing.

Sometimes loyalty doesnt pay off. For instance. Michael turner should have been cut a long time ago.

Brandon Jacobs played far too long.

Norv Turner.

Phillip Rivers.

Rex Ryan
Mark Sanchez

etc etc.

b1adesofcha0s 11-26-2012 06:30 PM

Smith may be just a game manager, but he's become a pretty damn good one. He's still way better than the starting QB of a number of other teams.

Look at what happened with Bledsoe/Brady in New England. That decision to keep Brady as the starter completely changed the fortune of the entire franchise. If Harbaugh sees the potential in Kaepernick to do something similar in San Francisco, then it's worth a shot.

LMBmikeZ 11-26-2012 06:33 PM

:iagree: Smith could take a lot of the QB jobs out there (the ones that will be available at the end of the season that is)

elperuano 11-26-2012 06:38 PM

Any Dolphins fan here? I'm pretty excited bout Tannenhill. With a good playmaker at WR we could start to be relevant again. Bush is too much of a finesse runner for my taste, I prefer Daniel Thomas over Reg.
Defense is good but plays inconsistent at times it's frustrating. Secondary could probably use a veteran CB. Our division is still up in the air this year but we have it easy compared to other Divisions out there.

Wait are you saying this as a Dolphins fan? The AFC East in anything but up in the air. If the Patriots beat the Dolphins next week, they win the division. That's with 4 games still remaining in the season afterwards.

elperuano 11-26-2012 06:48 PM

Lol yea whoops I meant for a wild card.

elperuano 11-26-2012 07:13 PM

Lol yea I know but I wasn't expecting us to be #1, not yet anyway. We finally found a QB that's worth that talk now.. So now I can say with some confidence that the Dolphins r finally not gonna suck so hard after a decade of irrelevance!

LMBmikeZ 11-26-2012 07:13 PM

Patriots will take the division spot but wild card wil probably go to either Pittsburg or Indy IMO

daisuke149 11-26-2012 07:17 PM

if pittsburgh can make it to the playoffs and get polamalu, roth and brown back from injuries.. we will be ridiculously dangerous.

Our defense has been consistantly strong last 4 games. Just need the offense to pick it up.

b1adesofcha0s 11-26-2012 07:26 PM

DeCastro just came off IR so that should help you guys as well.

I liked him alot he played really well.

Mike Adams sucked initially but is definitely getting MUCH MUCH better.

it will take decastro a bit to get back into it. altho we just lost gilbert to IR also.

: /

Just need continuity.

LMBmikeZ 11-26-2012 07:31 PM

:iagree: get polamalu and Roth and that alone would be huge for you guys!

we really need brown too. IMO hes our best receiver.

Wallace just doesnt have the effort. Hes just an athlete.

He had the wrong route 4 times in the cleveland game. Gave little effort to defense against the interceptions.

LMBmikeZ 11-26-2012 08:47 PM

True but having big ben control the ball will surely change the outcome on the majority of offensive plays. Then to have polamalu back would help the D out huge he is seen al over the field! Makes tackles when no one else could etc....
