I hate you guys.

jcosta79 11-05-2012 03:51 PM

Can the Cowboys just forfeit the rest of the season or do we actually have to keep getting humiliated on national TV for another 8 weeks?

I mean at this point if you are a member of the Cowboys there is much less shame in just admitting you're a bunch of losers and quitting than there is in anything they are likely to come up with for the rest of the year.

:shakes head:

i feel your pain bro. we need a GM and a coach.

shadoquad 11-05-2012 03:57 PM

Honestly, the team is so close to winning every game. They've been very unlucky.

Being a Cowboys fan is like living with an abusive husband. I keep hoping and thinking things will get better and he keeps telling me it will, but it never does.

You cowboys fans crack me up. While I think Jerry Jones is a terrible owner from a football perspective, I would trade for him in an INSTANT to replace Mike Brown. Root for the Bengals for just one year and I bet you would welcome your Cowboys with open arms.

TLDR: At least your owner wants to win.

:iagree: If you saw them ask Obama about his team, the Bears, he name drops one player and moves on.

Reminds me of the show "Veep". She heads into an interview and asks beforehand what team she roots for. In the interview, she name drops two players :roflpuke2:

I was lollin'

Jones is the best kind of owner there is; one that is willing to spend whatever it takes to win.

He is the worst possible GM however. He needs to stick to being an owner and hire a GM that knows how to select talent.

I vote for Jimmy Johnson as the Cowboys new GM.

b1adesofcha0s 11-06-2012 09:53 AM

Well the Eagles are pretty much done for the season. I wonder who they will hire in place of Andy Reid. Only question left is whether or not they will bench Vick.

dmhenderson 11-06-2012 10:33 AM

I hope that walrus rots in hell.

dmhenderson 11-06-2012 10:34 AM

In all seriousness though I bet on the eagles in my fantasy draft with the vick/jackson hookup and it hasn't worked out that well. The one week it did (last week) my opponent had Aaron Rogers so.....

daisuke149 11-06-2012 10:35 AM

my opponent in FF had brandon marshall and the bucs RB...

Ouch. Eli manning only got me 0.5 pts this week. Good thing I had AP and Randall Cobb to make up for it.

I don't blame Mike Vick. It doesn't matter if you have Unitas/Marino/Manning/whoever back there, if the line can't hold for 2 seconds, you're not going to have an effective passing game.

Holy crap, did you guys see the Saints pass rush yesterday? They had hats on Vick after every single drop-back.

Invest in an O-Line, Philly!!!

some of that can be fixed with the right play calls. early on, mccoy was running the ball really well. so the D line stayed in place and didnt rush Vick as bad. As the game went on they stopped running as much and the D line got aggressive and Vick started getting hit.

Also Philly didnt call alot of quick pass plays.. nearly all were plays that would develop in 3-4 seconds which won't work.

Reid and OC and GM need to go.

:iagree: I don't think it's his fault either. That is a pathetic excuse for an O line. The Saints had 13 sacks for the season coming in and they got 7 in this game alone.

b1adesofcha0s 11-06-2012 12:09 PM

It was almost as if they were getting paid to KO Vick :stirthepot:

Part of that was because they got so far behind they had to pass. This problem was of course caused by their complete failure in the red zone.

right but they wer ebehind in the second quarter.. where you can still run the ball To the red zone and then pass. I mea if it works it works.

look at MN... 12 carries 168 years in the first half..

5 touches second half..

if my RB had over 12 yards per carry.. I wouldnt pass the ball ONCE.

:iagree: Eagles haven't been giving McCoy the ball enough all season.

I'd only pass the ball to keep them from stacking 8 in the box.

I agree, Philly shouldn't have stopped running.

Puzzled me when the Ravens stopped running in their game. It's not like "Rice, Raymond" is all that good or anything.

Why not give the ball to the "elite qb?"

Bmore would be infinitely better if they stopped trying to make flacco into something he's not and just pounded the ground. Their ground game + screens is enough to tear up most teams.

daisuke149 11-06-2012 12:33 PM

exactly. Philly needs a game plan like pittsburghs new system. inside runs, screens, quick passes.

but with Philly's back's id do alot more screens.

Looks like Pitt has another power runner in Redmon. That scares me a little.

Also, the Ravens' D isn't strong enough to save Flacco's azz every time anymore.

Honestly, they'd probably look a lot better of the ravens were still running a bunch.
