Simultaneous catch between the out of bounds area and the receiver's general vicinity.

I agree, they will get better.

Yeah but it wasn't as good as he's been doing the last few weeks. Also, I put him in instead of Stafford so I hope it will have been worth it. Picked up Flacco in case Stafford didn't play this week, but had to decide last night whether or not to play him.

It was nice to see real refs back. And it's cool how they are all getting standing ovations this week when they come out on field. Probably the only time this will ever happen. :bowrofl:

Tough call. Even if Stafford's 100%, the Vikings have been playing well recently.

Yeah I just took a chance with Flacco last night since he was playing pretty much the worst team in the NFL. The Ravens always seem to do really well against good teams, but suck against the crappy teams. :p

I want a campaign to bring the temp ref's back. srsly. It actually made the boring games more fun. like if jax was to play TN.

Maybe for the lousy games they should use the replacements.

b1adesofcha0s 09-28-2012 12:37 PM

They can just have the replacements train the real refs :icon17:

Yeah, but he drilled it when it counted.

Decision that puzzled me yesterday was why the Panthers didn't go for it on 4th and 1. "Durrhurr, ahead by less than a field goal with over a minute left, let's give the ball back to Matt Ryan, instead of just snapping the ball and having Cam lean forward."

Worked out well.

This from the team that just barely got by the winless Browns :icon17:

I think the most important thing about this game for us was that we got back into a good rhythm on both sides of the ball. Buffalo may suck, but they're still a dangerous team. Had one of the best rushing attacks in the league and surprisingly coming into the week Fitzpatrick was tied for 1st for most TD passes with 8.

It's a good thing we finally got our sh1t together because we'll need it for the upcoming Brady vs Manning match up. Still can't believe they didn't put this one in the primetime slot. Easily one of the most anticipated match-ups of the season.

Red__Zed 10-02-2012 07:31 AM

Trollolololololol at Kyle orton on Facebook after that game.

Cowboys got raped by the Bears last night.

I mean he was arguably the best QB for the Bears last night (actually Cutler did pretty well) :icon17:

Romo will bounce back, sadly he's thrown 5 ints before lol. The whole team needs to step up though. Hopefully some changes happen during the bye week!

Sibze 10-04-2012 08:06 AM

GB vs Colts this weekend. GB should take it eh?

b1adesofcha0s 10-04-2012 09:18 AM

This weekend is one of my most anticipated games of the year, Brady vs Manning 13. Should be another classic shootout and I think the Patriots are going to come through with the win. They made a statement with the Buffalo game last week and will look to do it again against Denver this week, especially after that embarrassing loss at home against the Cardinals.

Romo will do much better when Dez Bryant steps his game up and starts playing how he should be saying. I forget who said it, but that was one of the worst 100 yd receiving performances ever. He could have easily been over 150 yds with 1 or 2 more TD's if he didn't make so many drops and run the wrong routes those couple times.

How long have we been hearing this? They are not going to get better. The Cowboys STINK! (I am a lifelong Cowboys fan)

They need to trade everybody on that team (especially the owner) and start over like they did in 1989.

Jerry needs to get on his hands and knees and get Jimmy Johnson back as the GM, hand him the team, and move to Mexico.

or you know, just get a good O-line

The core problems with this team go well beyond a weak offensive line.

When a wide receiver and a QB cannot sync up, that means only one thing: a lack of practice. The QB and his wide receivers should know each other better than their spouses. O-Line cannot help there.

I'm glad to hear this. I hear so many boys fans just disregard and say Ah we had a bad game or some bs. I'm sorry but that team needs a restructuring. A rebuilding from the ground up. They will get no where in their current condition. I hate when people are so oblivious to the facts. Romo is no bueno. A team starts from the qb. If he can't control his players, show leadership on the field, then he isn't fit to play. I believe that if they started at least with a new qb they would be in a better situation.

I agree with you, but they also need to get rid of all the coaches and trainers. ALL OF THEM. Even the water boys and the guys that sell hot dogs in the stadium. There seems to be an air of complacency on that team that starts at the top and spreads like gangrene.

You certainly did not get that feeling when Jimmy was running things.

dmhenderson 10-04-2012 10:02 PM

As a long-suffering Skins fan all I can say is "lol"

Also, Rich Eisen just said "faceraped" on the air which got a pretty hilarious double take from Marshall Faulk.

I agree they need a lot of rebuilding, doesn't mean I'm not going to be optimistic every week lol. It needs to start with Jerry Jones and work it's way down. I do believe with a better management staff in place they can do better with the players they have.
