Perez is going to McLaren... (Confirmed by McLaren)

Hamilton most likely to go to Mercedes..... :eekdance:

Schumacher... move to Sauber?? :wtf2:

I believe he will mostly retire after this season... he's too expensive for Sauber, and too old for battling in the midfield... :eekdance:

According to Schumi's manager they (Mercedes) presented him with a contract extension mid-summer that he did not sign. Apparently he didn't want to commit to drive when he wasn't sure what he wanted to do.

Also, there appears to be a separate bit to Michael's Mercedes contract in which he has the option to stay on in a high-paying advisory role. If he doesn't want to drive anymore I suspect he'll stick with Ross at Merc and help out where he can.

FWIW, Peter Sauber said he'd hire Michael in a heartbeat. Sauber can afford to pay him. So if he wants to drive that's an option.

But he'll probably just retire.

And for 3 years, Mercedes couldn't really design a fast race car, I would wonder if Schumacher would want to take another chance, with his age is climbing up, Mercedes has to have a really good car next year in order to have Schumacher to win some races... and I doubt Mercedes could have a good car next year.....

As for Sauber, even they can afford Schumacher, will he wants to race for a mid-field team...??

I am wondering whose gonna replace Perez in Sauber.... I am also wondering will Wiliams keep Senna for 2013....

My guess is he won't. Short of Ferrari offering him Massa's seat I don't think he'll be back in a car next year. Not because he doesn't want to drive but because there are no competitive options.

And I don't even know if he'd go to Ferrari considering they forced him out at the end of '06 to make way for Kimi. And we all know how that worked out for them.

Top four, McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull and Lotus won't have room for Schumacher, Ferrari won't dropped Massa, he is cheap and good relationship with the team, obedient, plus, why Ferrari would put two champs in one team, they always favorite one.

Red Bull has Vettel and Webber. Lotus, they have Kimi, and they need a title sponsor for next year too as Lotus is pulling out, I bet they'll go back to "Renault" next year...

What left is Sauber and Williams (If Williams is smart enough to drop Senna..)

But I doubt Schumacher will sign a mid-field team....

Bye Bye Schumy.... :tiphat:

:iagree: too

back in 2010 I had extreme high expectation on his return since Mercedes won the championship and I thought they could carry on the momentum. But 3 years has passed and their performance has been disappointing...

I so much wish Schumy to stay in the sports but without a competitive car, plus his age... it is not a good scenario for him as a driver...
