Schumacher..... again.....

Trips 09-23-2012 09:21 AM

Yup

looks like he forgot which pedal was the brake again

alcheng 09-23-2012 09:28 AM

After almost 3 years, he still haven't adjusted to battle within the midfield...

DLSTR 09-23-2012 09:31 AM

Wow. Long hard race. Enjoyable overall. Unpredictable year!

alcheng 09-23-2012 09:33 AM

True, the battle on the midfield was exciting, Massa did some nice passing, and Senna.... errr.... he likes touching the wall... And other cars too....

Massa drive of the day. Puncture on turn 1 not his fault. Fights back to get in the points even after Senna forced him into the wall. He knew Massa was there and was stupid. Glad he went out. Karma.

Word is Senna is gone after this year. He is not a stellar driver at all. Needs to find a new series. Bottas to take his place from what Im hearing.

Not nearly as boring as Monaco.

Honestly, I don't understand the hype about Bruno Senna, he is not Ayton Senna, not even close at all, I am surprised he can stay in F1 for this long.... :shakes head:

He looked like a fish out of water today. Driving around on his own without direction. He is too hit and miss. He is gone. Williams need a driver who can get points or they are of no use. They cant afford him to just drive around.

Have any of you guys picked up F1 2012? So far I've only had time to lap COTA, a fun track but looks like there may not be very many overtaking spots apart from the braking zones in the straights. Will have to give it a try with some traffic...

It's a very nice game!!

I always respect the programmers put so much effort on developing the in-cockpit view, however, to make it realistic, 3 displays is a must in order to obtain the 200 degrees of visual field of human eyes, but it is not realistic to have 3 displays....

Nice game though!!

I wonder if they considered using Kinect to track your head like in Forza 4. I've had ok results with it there and it made for a few laughs as I tried explaining the concept of looking towards the apex to my friends...

alcheng 09-25-2012 11:55 PM

I never tried it in Forza but will you get dizzy quickly since the "view" is moving all the time....?

Titan1080 09-26-2012 12:56 AM

I didn't. It takes some getting used to though and you really need to have a room suited for using Kinect where it can clearly distinguish your head. I have my wheel mounted to a base with an old car seat and with me so close to the floor, the Kinect sometimes loses my head and the view gets stuck looking the wrong way.
