The fact that they didnt have Wade tonight didnt even seem to bother them, just imagine if Wade played. LOL :nutswinger:

Ugly f'ing game, I turned it off in protest from the horrendous officiating.

Kobe now has played two really bad games in a row, I hope this doesn't continue. :shakes head:

At least we have a game tmrw so I won't have to stew over this too long.

nmjaxx9 01-20-2012 12:23 AM

I think the Lakers problem is they have no real talent other than Kobe. Their offensive game is almost non existent. Fisher is a hit or miss, Gasol use to play with aggressiveness, but has not shown it, Bynum is the only one that is somewhat consistent. But you cant depend on your center to do all the work, similarly you cant do have a one man show with Kobe, cant rely on him to shoot 40pts a game every game. Added to that is the inexperience of the rookies, I think the Lakers really need a makeover. I feel bad for Kobe sometimes because he seems so helpless, especially in the 3rd quarter of the game, when they were down like 17 or so, he really tried to pick up the slack but the rest of his team couldnt support him. Its a tradegy that such a great talent has no support.

Its still very early, the team still needs time to gel.

Schedule is not helping either!

Yeah agreed back to back games isnt healthy for any team. You saw what happened to the Heat. :icon17:

But yeah I think it does, but honestly I think you guys just need some high energy in your offense to get it going, I see it in McRoberts but he had like no minutes this game. :shakes head:

They played well against Utah, Pheonix and shutdown Dallas. Miami is my pick to come out of the East so to lose to them this early doesn't mean much to me.

Officiating on the other hand is a totally different story

Hell no, especially in the first half.

They will beat Orlando by 15 tmrw and we will all forget about tonight.

Oh helllll no that is not happening

haitech 01-20-2012 01:31 PM

Oh yes. I think LeBron is more free to play and do what he did in Cleveland when Wade doesn't play.

There was a rumor last year as well that he may retire but he didnt for the reasons stated in this article: Kobe Bryant to Retire from NBA Basketball in 2011? | Bleacher Report

And no dont think thats true at all.

Yeah you could def see it the game against the Spurs and yesterdays game against the Lakers, he plays all out when Wade isnt playing. Because, I think when Wade plays he takes a backseat in the action and knows he doesnt have to play all that hard because Wade can cover him, but when Wade isnt there all the pressure is on him to perform.

Waiz 01-20-2012 03:42 PM

Lebron looked good on the block last night, nearly unguardable! Fact is, Lakers never do well against Miami so I wasn't surprised.

Lakers always do well against Orlando so I expect a better performance tonight. I will be going to a meet tonight so I will DVR it and watch it tmrw.

nmjaxx9 01-20-2012 07:18 PM

Yeah because Miami is just too BEAST!! :p:icon17:

Its gonna be interesting to see what LA does tonight. :stirthepot:

nmjaxx9 01-20-2012 11:31 PM

Dam the Lakers are really struggling.

And what ever happened to the DW trade? Im actually thinking it may be a good idea if the trade doesnt go down, Bynum is good where he is at, what the Lakers need are better guards. AKA CP :icon17:

Also found this amazing video of Dwayne Wades career highlights. Just amazing what this guy is capable of sometimes its a throw up b/w Lebron and Wade for me. Just great players. Take a look at it if you have some time to spare. Just awesome.

That was directed at your photo more at the game last night. :)

Lakes need another perimeter scorer more than another big man IMO.

Also, the Clippers lost last night to Minnesota so I'm not too mad about the Lakers losing :icon17:

Ohhhhh alright yea. LOL. yeah they def need another guard.

Gasol has got to go. He just doesn't look like he doesn't want to play and that goes for last year also. He seems like he got 2 rings and he's satisfied and has no fire or will to win. World Peace is garbage and needs to leave along with Fisher. Hell everyone but Kobe and Bynum need to be traded. This team is terrible right now and an easy 1st round elimination and no way dream of a championship with this roster. I'm a big time Laker fan and it's tough to watch.

Completely agree, I like the Lakers as well, but they really need to make some changes.

Love how Laker Nation prefers to hate on Gasol for all of the teams shortcomings. Let's just ignore that Kobe is firing more times than Bynum and Gasol combined. And what was this team's strength coming into the season? TWO SEVEN FOOTERS. And one of them is rated as the best passing big man to play the game.

Think about it: MIKE BROWN HAS PAU GASOL OPENING UP SHOP ON THE PERIMETER.

What big man wants to play as a perimeter player?! It's not Gasol's fault he's taking jumpers, he's being asked to play a game that he is NOT familiar with. Where are his post touches? Where is his dynamic with Bynum on the other side? Why isn't Pau being set in a post position where he can feed the open cutter? And WHY CAN'T KOBE TRUST ANY TEAM MATE NOT NAMED DEREK FISHER.

You know who needs to go? YOUR RETARDED COACH. MIKE BROWN IS A CLOWN IN AN EXPENSIVE SUIT.

There is a reason why Cleveland never won anything with the most talented player in the NBA!

Oh, and if you're actively willing Derek "Almost Mr. Clutch" Fisher, the man that just WON YOU A GAME YOU DID NOT DESERVE, you are not a fan. (though to be fair, the NBA should have scratched the game, because it was SO F*CKING UGLY, both teams deserved to take a loss)

And sad to say it Laker Nation, but Roy Hibbert played with more heart, fire, intensity, however you want to call it, than the entire Laker team. And Kobe is not vintage Kobe, he cannot bail this team out every game.
