Let me also add that rookie Norris Cole is mos def a problem. He came up big in the end, he def needs more time on the floor if he continues to play like he did tonight.

Michael Jordan is a douche. His entire career was built upon the premise that everybody hated on him, and he used that anger and resentment to drive him on. When people tried to appreciate him, he spat in their faces.

Greatest basketball player ever, but nowhere near humble.

Lol, you guys are forgetting who you are talking about. He is the greatest man to ever touch a basketball, a living legend, 14 All star MVP titles, 6 time NBA championship recipient, 3rd highest points scored ever in the NBA, only Malone and Kareem AJ were in front of him, and after all that he still kept his head on his shoulders...which tells you something.

If you are that great, there are bound to be people "hating" on you, its human nature. Yet, my point is that he never let that come in the way of his game. You ever see him shove someone, put hands on another player, get into any lawsuits on or off the floor? No...because he carried his pride in a humble way, its hard not to be a little over confident when you are a skilled and great player, and for that he still carried himself with dignity and gentleman like attitude.

Now you wanna talk about non humble players look at the Lakers, they have two the most cockiest and non humble players in the NBA, one of which still graces the floor of league now. SO we cant judge a man by his actions when he was forced to act a certain way because of his large following combined with what we call "haters" Despite such a great pressure for him to always outperform others, and criticism, he still remained and is to this day one of the most humble players.

I don't think you understand my argument. I did not disagree with you in his technical ability. He is a living legend of the game, a man whose talents will not appear in the NBA again. He was the whole package, the one player you could build ANY team around, and still have a championship formula. His titles attest to his capabilities, and with Chicago's prowess in acquiring the right backup and support for him, he absolutely dominated the landscape.

But it's not just the people "hating" on him. Even the people who respect him and call him peerless...they are subject to his ire and anger. There is nobody in his world other than himself. He carries his pride? No, more like flaunts it. He rubs it in everybody's face the same he he did in the league back then. He's one of a kind, and he damn well knows it. How that is interpreted as a gentleman-like attitude is beyond me.

And who forced him to act that way? Who forces him now, when he was being inducted to the hall of fame, to be an absolute douchebag to everybody trying to pay tribute to him? We all know he's great, and he's still hating on the world for something that isn't there.

tl;dr - you've got to be f*cking kidding me, but I refuse to argue this point any further. It's just a pointless argument now.

If you are referring to the Hall of Fame speech, I disagree with you. All he was trying to do was call out the people who didn't want him to succeed. He had played humbly the whole time, had bottled all his emotions, and as a person, he was just expressing his emotions as any person has the right to do.

He expressed his feelings about people who held him back from being the best he could be, like his High School coach who didn't see his abilities and skills as player, or that General manager of the Bulls that he had such a hard time.

I think you are basing his humility off of one speech, which does not justify his actions throughout his whole career.

Dude, did you read the last article I linked you to? He's a bonified genuine azzhole in every day life, what we're saying has nothing to do with his game.

Yes and the only one of those articles that had some truth to it was the one about his Hall of Fame speech...which I addressed cannot be used to judge him as a douche, when he was merely expressing his feelings about his career.

LOL and you think Chamillionare is lying about his hero telling him "I ain't takin' pictures with no *****" in the presence of Paul Pierce and Spike Lee? He has absolutely no reason to lie in that situation. Jordan being an azzhole is no surprise to anyone, this argument is meaningless.

Lakers just acquired Sessions and Jordan Hills for Fisher, Luke and Kapono!

Love this trade for the Lakers! First of all they got rid of Luke and Kapono, secondly they picked up a legit point in Sessions. My only gripe is they had to give up Fish, Kobe's buddy from the beginning But it had to happen eventually. Maybe he could come back in a supporting coach role after his career.

I'm excited for the rest of the season! Didn't give up any major pieces and picked up some solid role players. We're coming together offensively and defensively, should be able to make a good playoff run with the position we're in!
