Only 45 days to go before the start of the 2011 season. It's gonna be a long one this year with a 20 race schedule and in HD for the first time. (Hopefully Speed picks up the feed here in the US!)

Other major news for 2011:

• Team Renault is now Group Lotus-Renault and will be sporting the classic black and gold lotus trim. (Team Lotus will remain green.)
• Pirelli is now the sole tire supplier replacing Bridgestone.
• Movable rear wings are in... KERS is back... double decker diffusers are out!
• BBC has announced that they will broadcast the new HD FIA feed.

Last year had the slowest start of any season that I can remember but it grew into one of the most exciting. Lets hope this one starts off fast and keeps up the pace.

Can't wait to see what the 2011 cars look like and how the lap times compare with last year.

I love the Abu Dhabi track. That place is something else.

They were saying that the trick diffusers were worth 2s/lap. I can't wait to see if they were able to compensate and get faster... The adjustable rear wing might be interesting..

I can't wait until F1 comes back to the US in a year or so, but I'm excited for the start of the new season this year, too!
