Despite being one of the most miserably hot and humid July weekends, what an exciting and glorious time to see Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Ron Dennis and the McLaren team. Sorry for the rather terrible quality pics as they are a faint representation of my memory. So fortunate to see Niki racing before he retired. Although he finished 8th after a spin, he set the fastest lap time of the day

So cool. F1 was so much better back then. Except for some of the horrible street circuits we had here in the States.
