TypeOne 03-07-2011 09:54 PM

Soooooo....

I started putting my intakes on and taking pictures for my DIY...buttt I was overcome with excitement and decided to ditch the camera. :-/

Oh well! I installed them and it really does wake the car up. Mid ranges seems more responsive and it deff pulls harder up top.

Up next... ART pipes and a legit exhaust.

:-D

Met_z I hate you! Rims are sick!

KaienZ34 03-07-2011 11:00 PM

Yeah i'm loving my gen 3 as well.

How would you go about doing that?

Stillen doesn't say anything about doing so, and I would assume they balance them before they ship them out to people.

Or just keep saving for TT kit. :stirthepot: I want SC kit myself.

TypeOne 03-12-2011 12:46 AM

I got google TV tonight... I'm sitting on my couch posting.

I have to say it is a little weird... but awesome.

lol

KaienZ34 03-12-2011 11:31 AM

Is that a service or a tv or both ????

TypeOne 03-12-2011 03:52 PM

It's just an adapter box... got it at best buy. It links your TV and all other kinds of stuff with the internet. You can surf the web and stuff all on your TV.

If you have a DVR, you can manage all of your downloads and recordings from it... if you really wanna be hipster you can control all of your devices with your Android or iPhone.

I got this one..
Logitech Revue? With Google TV?

Sony makes one as well, but I already have a blu ray player so it wasn't worth the extra $150.

KaienZ34 03-12-2011 04:13 PM

Ya that does sound cool, i've already got the blu-ray in my ps3 so that's covered.

TypeOne 03-16-2011 09:33 AM

I think I'm going to build a single 3" exhaust for my Z... thoughts?

KaienZ34 03-16-2011 09:52 AM

Plenty ... :stirthepot: should i list them alphabeticaly, or :ugh2:

Yea. Why?

TypeOne 03-16-2011 03:29 PM

Just curious if anyone had anything to input on it...

I've been thinking for a while that I wanted to run a single side exhaust and from everything that I have read, it seems that the downside would be that it's loud. Meh.. I don't think my Z is all that quiet right now so saving some weight would be a good thing.

Anyway, I'm going to order some 3" stainless tubing and start mocking it up. The biggest hold up that I have is finding the right shape rear muffler. But I think it is going to work out well.

:-P

KaienZ34 03-16-2011 03:33 PM

Are you going to do something with the two exhaust tip cut ups in the rear bumper?

Um, if you count leaving it alone something, then yes.
